So, if she is so bright, why doesn’t she just apply for citizenship? I have no problem with that. This country is a country of immigrants…ones who were proud of this country, who wanted their kids to learn english, to work hard, etc.
I do have a problem of that ditz calling Bristol Palin a “loser”. Bristol may have been an unwed mother, but normally that would have made her a “heroic winner” in the eyes of this ditz. She is only a “loser” because she was unfairly put in the spotlight where other children of political figures were untouched, and smeared along with her mother.
Gosh, I can’t stand blatant hypocrisy.

Here’s my problem with the whole story.
A: If she is illegal than so are her parents.
B: She has been here since she was eight years old, so her 4.09 GPA was payed for by the American Taxpayer, not her ILLEGAL PARENTS.
C: She wants to go to Berkely and major in Political Science. To what end? So she can then become a liberal know-it-all that shits all over the United States?
D: When she applied for loans and her illegality was brought to light why is she not deported?
E: If her parents fled Mexico to escape the crime etc. why didn’t they apply for asylum?
That last one was really a rhetorical question, so allow me to answer it as I see it. BECAUSE CALIFORNIA CATERS TO THE ILLEGALS. Why pay for it when you can get it for free.
I have no sympathy for people that so brazenly break the law and then expect to be rewarded, she and her parents should be deported immediately.
When I lived in California Wells Fargo gave loans to illegal aliens. Now if the liberals didn’t take over the student loan industry, she got have gotten a private school loan from Wells Fargo to pay for school. So as far as I am concerned, the liberals are getting everything they wanted and now complaining about it! I think it is awesome!
My husband is English and I am South African, but hopefully in two years time we will be proudly American! It took us 9 years to get our green cards while living here on (legal) visa’s – and it ain’t easy folks getting a working visa if you’re from the UK or South Africa. I cannot even begin to tell you the stress we endured while waiting for our green cards, but we did it legally as there shouldn’t be any other way. I know I don’t look Mexican, but if I was asked to show my papers on the street, I will gladly whip out my green card with a grin on my face.
Bottom line is……if you go to a country, do so LEGALLY! If you make a country your home, speak that language and abide by their rules and culture. You don’t deserve ANYTHING from a country unless you are a citizen. No handouts! No exceptions!
To be refused the loan to go to the People’s University of the People’s Republik of California, Berkeley, is in effect a blessing anyway.

ali, you and your husband are exactly the type of legal immigrants that we need in our country. Those who appreciate the opportunity that our founders initially envisioned, and I salute you for that.
Sadly, the attitude of the illegals, and the politicians who pander to them for current and future votes are not what our founding fathers envisioned. We all need to do our best to stop the amnesty crowd at any cost.

I find it so stupid how so many illegals come here cause their country just flat out sucks………yet they wont drop the VIVA LA MEXICO attitude. Uhhh you came here cause your country sucks. You should be shouting GOD BLESS AMERICA.
