Wenlock and Mandeville look like Teletubbies V2.0

Reid says Brown lied? Yo, Harry! Explain your southern Nevada land deals again.

    Not really.

Does this mean our Tango is high-safety, since it’s high-speed?
    http://www.commutercars.com

Actually, it does. The roll cage and sidebar protection (in the doors) means that it actually survives better than an SUV. We wanted the driver to survive!!

Only morons, cheats and liars still believe in Man-Made Global Warming
I’d say the majority are morons

    I second the motion!

  3. Fletchman says:

Wenlock and Manderville – It’s not only in America that the communists have their goals. From the the 1963 Congressional Record:

    22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

Obviously you could substitute the word ‘American’ for ‘British’:

    22. Continue discrediting British culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. A British Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

It is quite fitting that the Olympics are a worldwide event and the communists would use such an opportunity to promote their worldwide goals.

  4. Fletchman says:

On another note I believe ‘Mandeville’ the blue one is obviously gay. As Teletubbies 2.0, Mandeville is the next Tinky Winky, the purple Tellytubby.

It is clear that his/her blue belly and partial leg coloring is an upside down heart. A clear reference to non-traditional marriage. Since it covers his/her genital parts, the truth is obvious.

  5. Jan says:

Who in the world decreed that the Olympics needed really idiotic mascots? They get more ridiculous every four years.

  6. Igor says:

Jan, you win the Kewpie Doll prize! Idiotic mascots were thought up from the frenzied mind of some Media Advertising hack, you can rest assured. It got worse with the PC crowd, and look what we have today!?! Hurl.

    Igor

Yep, the one in the blue id definitely gay!

    Don’t underestimate the profit motive.

    Ah yes, right on cue.

3 climate change reports call for setting price on carbon emissions

Controversial professor fired from spill team

It is everyone’s right to think and speak their will. It is not anyone’s right to establish unfounded discriminatory policy. Progressive totalitarianism should be rejected by all rational people. We already have the rule of law to prevent personal prejudices from inflicting harm on others, or so I thought.

Over politically incorrect bullshit that has nothing to do with… oil spills!

    Yeah, that too.

European Court Ruling Forces Release of Rapists and Murderers

There are some people who believe that rapists and murderers are just as much the victims. It is one thing to forgive personal harm. It is something entirely different to provide amnesty to people who have committed grievous harm against society. There are some crimes that affect us all, directly or indirectly.

Sen. Harry Reid Suggests Sen. Scott Brown Lied

I thought that remarking “you lie” was considered uncouth. Has it been that long?

Should federal workers be asked to take pay cut, too?

Should they, yes. Will they? Probably not

Most assuredly. The government unions are the biggest special interest group. We wouldn’t want a Greek protest in DC, now would we.

  8. n.n says:

    Last word on Malaria?

Don’t underestimate the profit motive. The environmentalists are just another competing interest. They should be considered without any undue credibility which they have thus far garnered.

Pielke Jr. is a progressive, but he seems to have a rather balanced perspective on this and related matters. The real issue is not AGW/AGCC, but how do humans affect their environment, and to what extent. The AGW/AGCC agenda, and specifically their solution of “carbon credits/taxes”, are mere distractions that only serve to enrich the selfish. They are a diversion from enacting sustainable policies and sabotage the spirit of science.

  9. BornLib says:

“Only morons, cheats and liars still believe in Man-Made Global Warming”

So which one is the National Academy of Sciences?

“3 climate change reports call for setting price on carbon emissions”

Oh, I guess it can be all three.

“European Court Ruling Forces Release of Rapists and Murderers”

Unless that sentence ends with “… from a plane in mid-flight with no parachute” I’m against this.

  10. n.n says:

Questionable China-Pakistan deal draws little comment from U.S.

Is America the only nation which acts against its own best interests? It has been far too long since the last nuclear power plant was constructed. The wind, solar, and bio-fuel alternatives are inadequate, at best.

  11. n.n says:

Scientists Retract Paper on Rising Sea Levels Due to Errors
    – dated 02/22/2010 (an oldie, but goody)

How can they possibly expect their models to be accurate, when they have failed to accurately characterize the system.

    GISTEMP -vs- HadCRUT

Another unreasonable extrapolation beyond available data. This is why they need the super-duper-super computers, which results in an increase of precision without necessarily an increase of accuracy.

These people actually participated in promoting policies, which would have turned the world upside down — figuratively, of course.

  12. BornLib says:

“Sen. Harry Reid Suggests Sen. Scott Brown Lied”

Brown, you let Reid intimidate you? Stinking pansy.

    “US apologises to American Indians”
    “Who’s left?”

    Tibet?

  13. n.n says:

    Tibet?

Why? Not everyone is afforded the privilege of observing the president’s garbage. Although, it wasn’t a guided tour. Maybe next time, Dalai Lama.
