We, in Arizona , know you’re boycotting us — but you really should come out here and see our Beautiful Sonoran Desert.
It is estimated over 5,000 discarded backpacks are in this wash just south of Tuscon. Countless water containers, food wrappers, clothing, feces, including thousands of soiled baby diapers.
Maybe Presidents Obama and Calderon should check out some of the amazing contributions to America left by the undocumented.

I love this- someone sent me it in an email yesterday.
It’s so easy for bleeding heart liberals (who would give their life’s fortunes to ensure abortion on demand) to sit in their ocmfy homes in NY, PA, CA, OR and MA spouting the horrors of the AZ law. I’d love to see how fast their tune would change if they had to live with a constant fear of people crawling through their yards in the dark of night, leaving trails of trash in their pretty little towns and in some cases carryng illegal drugs and weapons.
Try reality on for size people. It’s a better fit for our country!
Hey, if nothing else we can stop these people for breaking laws on Federal lands (littering, etc.), find out they are illegal, and deport them back to Mexico. Whatever works!
Why don’t these kinds of pictures ever make it into the Lamestream Media report, Bob? (Tongue very much in cheek…)

Trishmac, not only were you right about the federal law, but, apparently, California has a law that enforces federal law, and is the equivalent of the Arizona law.
Calif. penal code pertaining to immigration similar to Ariz.’s SB 1070
With respect to any such person who is arrested, and suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws, every law enforcement agency shall do the following: (1) Attempt to verify the legal status of such person as a citizen of the United States, an alien lawfully admitted as a permanent resident, an alien lawfully admitted for a temporary period of time or as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of immigration laws. The verification process may include, but shall not be limited to, questioning the person regarding his or her date and place of birth, and entry into the United States, and demanding documentation to indicate his or her legal status.
– California PENAL CODE SECTION 833-851.90
Has Mayor Villaraigosa, or any of our civil servants, actually read our laws? At least they could become familiar with their own, if not the federal and other state laws. Their so-called “sanctuary cities” are illegal and those who enable them should be prosecuted for violating the law.
If anything, the Arizona law is actually more careful about preserving civil rights. There is a legal difference between “suspicion” and “reasonable suspicion”, the latter of which is used in SB 1070.
Suspicion
: the act or an instance of suspecting something
: a mental state usu. short of belief in which one entertains a notion that something is wrong or that a fact exists without proof or on slight evidence
Reasonable suspicion
: an objectively justifiable suspicion that is based on specific facts or circumstances and that justifies stopping and sometimes searching (as by frisking) a person thought to be involved in criminal activity at the time
A police officer stopping a person must be able to point to specific facts or circumstances even though the level of suspicion need not rise to that of the belief that is supported by probable cause. A reasonable suspicion is more than a hunch.

This is an easy oversight to make, when there is selective application and rejection of laws.
It is Obama, Villaraigosa, and others, who are misguided.
Hey Igor: great idea! If we can’t get ‘em for breaking immigration laws, get ‘em for littering! If littering’s not a deportable and no re-entry offense, it darn well should be!
The pic above is strange, though . . . it appears there are more clothes than anything else, and it also looks like they went out of their way to strew everything about.
That’s called a “wash” RockThisTown.
Has to do with the sudden rainfalls and the way the water drains on top of the land, it agglomerates all trash that is strewn about an area into the “stream” like that.
Oh. I’m sure the environmental groups will be protesting these illegals any day now just like they would a evil taxpaying corporation. In fact, if a corporation were to do this, Obama would be demonizing it.
As my sister asked, “While Calderon is here in the US, badmouthing us and claiming we’re mistreating his people … why doesn’t he just take ‘em back home with him?“
Thanks n.n., I wasn’t aware of CA having any specific immigration law. Makes this whole boycott BS even more hypocritical! How the heck do all of these liberal supposedly brilliant minded idiots continue to speak, and do so loudly, before they read anything?
