I like the headline they gave this over at Ace of Spades:
“Chris Christie to Reporter: I’m Not “Confrontational,” You Mewling Pussy”
I saw this early today and still get a big smile on my face. Confrontational? He didn’t insult the reporter, he didn’t bluster – he kept his sense of humor.
Compare and contrast to Gibbs on any given day and our president on quite a few.
It seems that Holder was right, if for the wrong reason. Many Americans are cowards, but the issue is principally philosophical, and not racial. There are more people becoming aware that the compromises made were effectively unidirectional. It is only due to the rise of a potent middle class, that America has not submitted to a left-wing death spiral.
Liberal reporter headline: GOVERNOR GOES BALLISTIC ON REPORTER
Conservative reporter headline: REPORTER GOES BALLISTIC ON GOVERNOR
PRICELESS!
that was a KICKASS Bitch slap!!
One last thing. I’ve heard it said NJ governors have more power than any other governorship in the country. Christie is going to need every one of those powers over the next 3.5 years.
Needless to say I’m a big fan of Cristie. His poll numbers are low but he doesn’t care. He’s doing what’s necessary.
That’s my governor!
The reporter in question is Tom Moran of the Newark Star Ledger.
Here’s his take on the Q&A called “Gov. Chris Cristie’s ‘confrontational tone’ may cause him to lose needed partners among N.J. Democrats:

I may be gay
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
In addition to its original and continuing senses of “merry, lively” and “bright or showy,” gay has had various senses dealing with sexual conduct since the 17th century. A gay woman was a prostitute, a gay man a womanizer, a gay house a brothel. This sexual world included homosexuals too, and gay as an adjective meaning “homosexual” goes back at least to the early 1900s.

on the other hand
homosexual -
comb. form of Gk. homos “same” (see same) + Latin-based sexual
When there exists an “urban dictionary”, and semantics are perverted on a whim, then no language is safe.
As laws can be selectively acknowledged, so too can language be manipulated to serve someone’s purpose. If this continues, the human species will be clicking and whistling its way to extinction.
I may be gay, cuz I just love that man!!! Awesome!!!
Amen!
Oh, wow.
We need someone like him who possesses the courage and principles necessary to lead.
Finally, a mature representative of the people emerges. Him and Brewer would make a great team.
He is proving his mettle in fact. Christie for President!
(A little early, but he is definitely on the short list.)

Now THAT was a true Republican speaking!
For conservatives in general, and Chris Christie in particular, this was a very satisfying, “I won….” moment.
Like dropping an anvil on a cockroach. That was awesome.
Especially loved the “parting shot” in the video:
“…honest and refreshing – maybe we could see THAT in your paper…:
Also, loved the reaction(s) of the guy that you see over the right shoulder of the Governator. He was having a good time…
Wish I could’ve been there!
Igor
Love it!!!
