Open Thread Saturday

The punk was found guilty on two of four counts.

A federal jury this afternoon convicted Sarah Palin e-mail intruder David C. Kernell of felony destruction of records to hamper a federal investigation and misdemeanor unlawfully obtaining information from a protected computer. The jury acquitted Kernell, 22, of felony wire fraud.

U.S. District Judge Thomas W. Phillips declared a mistrial on another charge, felony identity theft, after the jurors said they were hopelessly deadlocked.

Upon sentencing will he do time or receive a probation wrist slap, and what message will that send other young liberals who decide it’s cool to hack into the personal emails of Republican (let’s be honest here) candidates?

His daddy is a leading D-E-M-O-C-R-A-T. That means that he will D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y get no more than six months probation when he should be getting 1/2 the max (10 years)…

Much better, up and about, thanks.

    That’s good to hear.

It’s amazing how easy it is to get lost or overwhelmed by matters which are largely out of our individual control.

Somethings must take priority. He will will have so many more opportunities throughout his life if he is healthy.

Keep up the good work, dad. My parents were always available to help me when I needed them. They are undeniably the people who have had the greatest influence in my life. Cory is fortunate to have you, Bob.

Thousands gather for immigrant rights march in downtown L.A.

Jeff, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant from South Korea

As suspected, there are illegal alien invaders from nations other than Mexico.

There are hundreds of millions of people from around the world who would love a free pass to America. There are also hundreds of millions of Americans who would love to selectively reject one law or another. Are there any other inconvenient laws? Maybe national sovereignty and private investments should also be rejected. How far down the rabbit hole do we intend to fall?

America is becoming an anarchist’s (terrorists in practice) paradise and they are creating a path to progressive totalitarianism. The liberals/progressives must be drooling over their good fortune. They are historical failures at copying with liberty and desire nothing more than submission to their “leaders”.

There are people on the left, who believe that criminals, even murderers and rapists, are as much the victims as the people who are actually injured by their act. It may be about compassion, but I would ascribe the cause for their “untraditional thinking” to psychosis. No one wants to talk about it, but there are people, due to genetic defects or misdirected nurture, that will develop into degenerates while maintaining, in most respects, a mostly normal appearance. People who justify selective prejudice and progressive involuntary exploitation, espouse equivalence of humans to animals (rejecting their own faith in the process), etc., are prime candidates to be evaluated for this mental aberration.

    Speaking of degenerates.

Venezuela and the failure of socialism

The real problem with socialism and the origin of left-wing lunatics, is that their failed philosophy strives to modify human nature, while ignoring the intrinsic fallibility of its advocates. The conclusion of these repeated experiments is that people revolt against their mortal gods once they are able to distinguish between the mortal and the god.

The economy is by and for the people. The government is established to protect the interests of the people and their economy. The people who are granted authority by the people to provide oversight of our affairs, should not forget what role they play, and reject their delusions of grandeur.

The people who enable these mortal gods need to marginalized and isolated from the rest of society, for their protection and ours. Hopefully our liberals/progressives will recognize their arrogance and learn to respect the individual dignity of others.

Deadlocked on identify theft? What are they blind? Let see he PURPOSELY tried to gain access to an account that was not his. That in all sane minds is idenity theft. Too bad the jurors never had thier identiy stolen. Mine was twice, luckily nothing happened, yet. Maybe someone should steal their identiy and then go back and rethink their verdict.

Althought I doubt that was the issue. They were deadlock because someone was compassionate on the jury. The left likes to be compassionate to the criminals. And/or compassionate to anyone who hated Sarah Palin.

I would rather be compassionate to the victums.

I’m sure he’ll only get probation.

He did not have unlawful relations with that e-mail. As such, he will be assigned to a “progressive” or “civil rights” business, where he will profit from the condemnation of others who engage in the same criminal actions — imagined or real. He will contribute to the prestige of the regressive establishment and, ironically, promote the recovery of our subverted constitutional republic.

Please, liberals/progressives, carry on. Your continued efforts will only help our cause.

He’ll get sentenced to a minimum security “prisneyland” for 4 years. Out in 1 or 2.
