Over a decade ago in California, we saw them during the Proposition 187 fiasco. A few years ago, we saw them by the hundreds at an ‘immigration’ rally in Los Angeles. One would have thought the victims would have learned by now that Mexican flags and hostile anti-American signs are not the best public relations gimmick when you want the general public on your side…

When you hear the utterly silly and hysterical outcry over the new Arizona immigration law and the demands for a path to citizenship for illegals, understand that the sentiments you see on these signs are undergirding the reaction.
Again, awaiting the reaction to these controversial signs from the mainstream media.

There will be no reply from the lame-stream media, Bob, except that they will (and have already) said that the leftist demonstrations were “mostly” peaceful.
In the meantime, the same leftist idiots have no trouble saying that the TEA Party folks are racist, violent, and likely fascists without any real evidence to back up their charges. They seem to have no trouble just making stuff up, do they?
Niocolas: It was Bernie Goldberg who invented the term “lame-stream media”
Ilion:
You are right. There is no metric by which to judge evolutionary fitness, other than that some cohesive form still exists. However, this wouldn’t be the first time that people of selective science have merged philosophy and science to substantiate their very existence.
I just think that creatures who have faith in evolution, should not be resentful when humans refer to them by their proper title, simians.
breadbasket:
Good point. It is amazing how many people want something for nothing. They must be suffering from “redistributive change” psychosis. The same mental disorder which afflicted the slave owners and traders of yesteryear, and still does.
This land is your land? Which land is that? Is it the modern day soutwest, which was built by water projects, highway systems, and air conditioning? Or is the the original land that Mexico lost?
Mexico did not really sweat missing the original southwest because most of it is a barren desert. They didn’t give up Vegas, Phoenix, L.A., San Diego, Tucson, and the Hoover Dam. They gave up worthless desert, like the stuff outside of Barstow and Baker.
It just take incredible gall to lay claim to something that isn’t yours.
It’s an amusement about Darwinists …
They like to liken those of us who deny Darwinism to simians (or worse), with themselves being “more highly evolved.”
Yet, in Darwinism, there is no such thing as “more highly evolved,” or for that matter, any such thing as simply “more evolved” … in Darwinism, all living things are equally evolved.
And, in Darwinism, *all* human beings are apes, nothing more and nothing less.
PB-in-AL:
I think the only ones who haven’t evolved are the followers of evolution. Maybe in that lies the real problem. They are torn between their faith in a fundamental truth, which cannot be proven, and their claim to enlightenment, which rejects all matters of faith. As Mauser observed, this must be the result of a [faulty] protection mechanism designed to ensure that they don’t self-destruct. This perpetual struggle between what they pretend to be and what they are, must result in their cognitive dissonance, which manifests itself in their inherently flawed and inconsistent philosophy.
observations on simian behavior
I am referring to them literally as simians — ape-like creatures. Until they evolve and learn to respect other people, their common heritage with simians is open for mocking. It is interesting to note how repulsed they are at the mere insinuation that they share a common ancestry with simians.
New York Post Cartoon: Al Sharpton Calls Monkey Cartoon Racist
Embrace your ancestors, followers of evolution — selective science.
We could always cede California to Mexico with the provision that CA keep all of the undocumented.
Mexico could turn the CA coast into a huge resort and the rest of the state could be the huge slum.
I wonder what would happen with all of those Malibu sanctuaries?
@n.n – “I think there are a lot of people who do not understand how empires, kingdoms, nations, tribes, etc. are formed.”
Yup, these are the same folks who whine about Israel and the various lines here and there of various color. Who whipped whose ass in 1967 to gain that land?
I suppose, though, it goes to the heart of the left mindset that says man is inherently good and that we have evolved. This is the same mindset that says war is the anomaly and peace the normal state, sorry history and human nature both disagree. Your observations on simian behavior I think apply here.
wait I think it was Burnie Goldberg who also says that
this bunch holding the “signs” are truly ignorant
“Again, awaiting the reaction to these controversial signs from the mainstream media.”
Bob, sadly, that’s why Sarah Palin and Dick Morris (I believe) call it the “LAMEstream media”
At least they’re upfront about their agenda.
Have the Mexicans conferred with the Apaches and other “native” American tribes? History would remind them that there is no love lost between them. Sorry Mexicans, you have as much right to the land as your tyrannical predecessors, of Spanish, Aztec, Mayan, etc. heritage.
I think there are a lot of people who do not understand how empires, kingdoms, nations, tribes, etc. are formed.
One of the “protesters” was caught on video on YouTube HITTING a person who was videotaping the protest and then yelling “Police! Police!”
You hearing crickets yet Bob? I am. And I won’t hold my breath for any truthful coverage of these agitants in the coming days.
I know; let’s send some of our media elite geniuses to Mexico without their credentials, and see how they get treated!!!
MORE DOUBLE STANDARDS! The left would have NOTHing if not for their constant and irritating use of them. At least they are consistent.
