If anything, liberals are consistent: do as we say, not as we do.

What kind of U.N. environmental ambassador builds a 20,000 square-foot home with a six-car garage, an elevator and a lagoon? Why, that would be the Hub’s favorite Pats fan, Gisele Bundchen! A paparazzo’s sneak pics of Bundchen and hubby Tom Brady’s gargantuan new Brentwood, Calif., chateau has green activists seeing red.
“How big a space do two people need?” asked Philip Dowds, a Massachusetts Sierra Club official and professional architect. “A 20,000 square-foot house — the resources that it takes to put it together and the land that it needs, this just can’t happen anymore.”
LOL.

green activists seeing red
That’s only because they are jealous. Since the failure of AGW/AGCC to generate revenue for the so-called “non-profit” members of Big Green, an increasing number of left-wing lunatics are indeed seeing red. The supporters of a cause always demand their return on their investment, real or imagined.
Be careful “elites”. While the Conservatives are a patient and tolerant people, the lunatic left have proven they are willing to pursue mortal reprisals. But, that is the hell you are due, for exploiting the selfish and vulnerable.
I have no objection whatsoever to them building that mega-spread, it’s their money!
Just don’t be a hypocrite of the first degree and be on any kind of Enviro-weenie panel, okay? Sheesh!

absolutely. what a laugh riot! love it!
I love it! And who cares? Oh yeah- the Greenies, which it seems means something altogther different than we thought- it is envy making them green, not environmentalism! Besides, I am sure the Brady’s will buy some carbon credits from Al Gore’s carbon offset company, and feel comfy cozy knowing that they’re “green”!
Well, you know, it’s so fitting that “environmentalists” are frequently Watermelons (“green on the outside, red on the inside”) … I mean, given that the major impetus for “red” politics is “green” envy.
Hilarious, indeed. I’m proud for Tom – I wish I could throw a football as fantastically as he, but I can’t. Nonetheless, I’m happy for his success and I’m happy with what I have.
This isn’t hypocrisy to the greenies – it’s their religion: “I’ve got mine (20K sf energy-gobbling mansion + humongous bank account + huge gas-guzzling vehicles), but you should live in a solar-powered hut, wear recycled clothing and ride a bicycle.”
I don’t fault them for their success and living how they wish & can afford; I do fault them (her) for telling others how to live when they themselves don’t live that way.
None of what I say here will make a whit of a difference, but this is the height of limosine liberal two-faced hypocrisy.
How else to show off the big bucks they have…look at John Edwards and Al Gore homes
