PG-13 Warning Of The Day

Intense epic battle sequences and warfare, sensuality and bad language are bad enough.

‘… and some smoking.’ Oh, lawd…!

OMG!! Some SMOKING!! How did that get into a movie at ALL!!??

I can understand the sex, the violence and swearing… but… SMOKING??!!

  2. The Machine says:

Will YOU participate in the Great Nicotine Riots of 2012?

  3. Bob says:

    Is this considered sedition?

  4. Sayers says:

Are those the actual descriptors? “Epic battle sequences” reads like marketing to me

  5. Nicolas says:

my god..how about “warning – this film contains subtle anti-american undertones. if you value the USA, viewer discretion is advised”

  6. Bob says:

That’s actually on the DVD liner.

  7. Nicolas says:

what?, the whole “smoking” thing or the thing about undertones? I’d LOVE to see a shot of something ADMITTING the film has anti-american undertones. Pretty much the I chose to boycott it. I ALMOST wanted to see it, the previews looked cool, but after places like Big Hollywood etc came out saying theis typical liberal anti-american undertones, I just thought “screw that”. Would rather see a movie that takes shots at liberals, like “An American Carol

  8. Nicolas says:

typos be damned..I meant “pretty much the REASON I chose to boycott it”. If you’re going to draw a connection to “Pocahontas”, then I’ll watch “Pocahontas”, as it’s an interesting & entertaining movie, with a lovely main character (plus it’s a Disney film. my being part of the Disney extended family, via my uncle who’s a project manager for the parks, I kinda feel obligated to take interest in most Disney films)

I’ll pass on “Avatar”. The only Cameron film I can stomach is “TITANIC”, as that is one of my favorite topics in history, among others

  9. Eric says:

WTF, I miss the good old days of cinima (Before I was born unfortunately) where Movies like “Patton” got rated “PG”

  10. Nicolas says:

I know the feeling, Eric. That’s why I have many classic war films in my collection like that

  11. OldnyFirefighter says:

Thanks guys, I won’t waste my money on the DVD as I can watch Liberals trash the USA every day without having to watch it on the boob tube & I definitely don’t need to watch it in 1080i HD. I’m a Trekkie at heart, so will stick to non-USA bashing SiFi.

  12. WDC says:

    Yummmm….Smoking! I miss smoking.
