U.S. Unveils New $100 Bill to Foil Counterfeiters
The new look, aimed at thwarting counterfeiters, has several new security features, including a “3-D Security Ribbon” and an image of a bell on the front of the note that, when tilted, changes in color from copper to green. The reverse side of the bill includes a new vignette of Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
I’m sure they’d redesign The White House if they could (and there’s still close to three years left).

they couldn’t do this for OTHER denominations as well?

Soon they’ll eliminate the color green from our currency entirely, and make it look like European bills.
Yet the $1 remains unchanged.

Just wondering…has anyone seen a bill of any denomination with Geithner’s signature?

Seems to me that each time they redesign the bills, starting with the gold certificates, they become less and less valuable. Look for a lot of redesigns in the near future.

I still have a secret stash of Silver Certificate $10 and $20 bills. I wonder if they’re worth holding on to….

Well, the way they are printing money these days, they might as well start printing pink bills with a picture of Mr. Monopoly on it.
