CNN U.S. President Jon Klein said that based on a format of credible, nonpartisan news, CNN is “alone in a category of one.”

That is a shame. It could be that the so-called “journalists” at CNN have misrepresented the will of American citizens. Even the people existing in an ivory tower are not immune from censure. Oh well, eventually, everyone grows up and is forced to accept reality, even the “children”.
I actually watched CNN for awhile the other day when I was at the gym. They had a program called I.O.U.S.A. (get it I.O.U., since it was about our growing debt…and I think a spinoff of a documentary), and it was amazing. They had interviews with geniuses like Hoyer, Dodd, et al. on how the spending could be contained. It was the equivalent of asking bin Laden how we could control the fanatical Islamic terrorist threat.
They did have some conservatives on the panel, and they had my girl Amy Holmes listed as an independent republican – whatever that is. It actually wasn’t bad as long as they stuck with the in-studio panel…okay, I’ll say that with the caveat that it was okay for what I actually watched. Can’t comment on its entirety.

If the conservatives don’t like him, the liberals/progressives don’t like him, and the independents are retreating in droves, then who does like him?
It is quite odd that, while Bush had the means, it is Obama the “constitutional lawyer”, who actually abuses the authority granted to him by the people… and the press.
How much longer can they continue this charade?

So, he is a benevolent sadist? It’s one thing that conservatives would be critical of his actions; but, there are some liberals who are equally concerned. Of course, the liberals did enable this power play. Still, I can’t help but wonder where this is all going.
It’s absolutely hilarious that there is at least one person at NYT who is laughing at the self-inflicted injury to Congress, and someone at WaPo unhappy with the subversion of their First Amendment right.

Nope, the benevolent Democrats do not like the limelight when the light does not emanate from journalists without integrity, or maybe just competing interests (people can decide what constitutes integrity). I, for one, would consider those who practice selective science, and who obfuscate their complicity in self-serving agendas, as people without integrity.
If they want to manipulate the market through legislation, litigation, and regulation, then they should be removed from power, then marginalized and isolated in order to protect the rest of humanity. The people who provide oversight of the people’s affairs, have been granted an authority — by the people — which they should not treat lightly.
Incidentally, the press is not welcome to bask in Al Gore-cle’s presence.
