The Media’s Public Enemy No. 1: Critics of ObamaCare
Since the passage of ObamaCare on March 21, the liberal media have been working hard to crack down on dissidents, painting the tea party movement, talk radio, and Republicans as dangerous radicals inciting violence against Democrats.

Don’t feel bad about it, as most Liberal’s/Progressives are self centered in the way they think. They are always right & anyone thinking differently is wrong. Actually they think much like Obama, he being the supreme authority we should all be following even if it means jumping off of a cliff without a parachute. They think it is impossible that it could be they that could be wrong. I have stopped trying to help them understand the meaning of the Constitution, individual freedom & individual responsibility of every citizen to take care of himself & family without expecting someone else or Government to do it for them. They are the give me generation & if you disagree, you are wrong or heartless. It isn’t worth my time to get upset over it, so I just ignore it.
The worst thing is, I know exactly what these kids were taught in high school… we were a very small school in a very upper-middle class neighborhood with high parental involvement and top test scores. We were taught Reagan Republicanism in our American Government and Civics class. We were taught the perils of socialism in our Economics class. We read classic American literature in our English classes.
How they got from what we were taught in high school to the mindless emotional reactions they evidence now is extremely compelling and condemning of the university system. Most of us who remain in the conservative camp went on to technical education and degrees (nurses, electronics engineers, computer systems engineers, etc.) About half of those in the Obama camp received no education whatsoever after high school. The other half have a minimum of a liberal arts degree from major universities, many have master’s and doctoral degrees … but apparently are unable to comprehend basic logic.

the left is making it very difficult for its opponents to speak out. Next will be the re-education camps so that we won’t be ‘sick and hateful’ anymore.
I just experienced some of this first hand. You’d think at this point I wouldn’t be surprised, but it really was both fascinating and highly disturbing at the same time.
I frequently post links to articles on my Facebook status. Some of them are articles Bob linked to here, some are from other websites. Some are items other FB friends of mine have posted that I pass along. All of them have been based upon fact checking the details of the healthcare takeover and other current activities of Congress or the administration.
An acquaintance from high school posted a link to a very one-sided article about newborns being denied health insurance based upon congenital defects being deemed “pre-existing conditions”. His own words above the link stated that he didn’t understand how people could be so hateful that they would want to deny these children healthcare.
He had quite a few people comment in agreement with him.
I commented as well. I stated that I agreed there was a need for reform in health care. I pointed out that the current law (this was after it was signed) did not change anything for these children during the next four years. I stated that rather than waste a year on this legislation, we would have been better served finding whatever issues could be agreed upon by all sides and writing legislation specifically for those issues. I stated that we could have probably had a dozen or more clearly understood, effective pieces of legislation passed in the same time frame that would truly help people like these children.
I received a message that he was de-friending me over my hatefulness. He said that he used to think I was intelligent and kind but that he had made it so that he didn’t receive my status updates several months prior (which means he has no idea what I did or did not post) because of my hatefulness and that he was truly sorry and hoped I could overcome whatever neurotic, paranoid fear of life had been instilled in me by Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. Nothing in his message bore any resemblance whatsoever to anything I had actually said… it was just full of the same emotional hyperbole we witness so often.
Although I knew it was pointless, I sent back one last message stating that he obviously hadn’t read anything I said and that I was definitely not the one being judgmental, close-minded or mean spirited. I did not expect nor receive a reply.
I was really stunned at the depth of vitriol in his message. I did not attend my 20th high school reunion this past month (I had to work… you know, doing hateful conservative things like taking care of sick children) but a friend of mine who did go stated that over 80% of those in attendance were outspokenly pro-Obama and were extremely hateful in their attacks on conservatives… for the “sin” of being “hateful”….
I’m very glad I didn’t take the night off. I could use the $500 I made that night far more than an evening dealing with drunk lefties.
With the Revolutionary War we moved right, as people rejected a totalitarian regime under the name of a monarchy. With the Constitution we moved left of anarchy to establish civilized society. The “liberal” agenda demands we move further left to a progressively totalitarian system. The system which free people with means have rejected throughout history. The principles underlying “progressivism” are a variation of Marx’s rationalization of slavery.
Exactly who are the fringe in this story? Huh, left-wing lunatics, any guesses? I would claim that it is the simians who advocate for normalizing destruction of emergent human life.
I think the liberal media’s viewership must be progressively diminishing. As they know, everyone loves a drama, even if it is only a melodrama.

This is SO one-sided it’s freaking scary. Thought police setup if I ever saw one. And absolutely the reason why independents/Rs and Ds need to vote conservatives into all of those liberal seats. To. Stop. The. MSM. and OBAMA & Co.
