The compromise was made, for the “general welfare”, and not the individual, nor group.
Keep pushing Marx’s rationalization of slavery, Penn. Not everyone is convinced of its merits. Remember, you have an ally in Pelosi and her kind, and diminishing support among “We The People”. Seek the corrupt and prey on the vulnerable. Eventually, you may achieve your revolution through legislation, litigation, and faux emotional appeals. It hasn’t happened yet, but anything is possible.
You guys do good work, Bob. There is nothing like a history of left-wing loonies and the “shared responsibility, but not my responsibility” crowd to put it all in perspective. I am still amazed that the people of “peace” protested the Iraq war, but were AWOL when the Serbians were bombed into submission. Other than their rationalization of slavery, they are nothing if inconsistent.
As for Pelosi, she would not be peddling a public relations campaign, if they had already succeeded in consolidating power. She and her ilke are desperate, which also makes them dangerous. Just send Obama to Indonesia, where he will be greeted with a hail of shoes, and more liberal/progressive delusions will be forever shattered — at least in theory.
The liberals are all for everything but American. Actually, I am surprised by how many people condemn America with only foreign anecdotal evidence to substantiate their resentment. I blame PBS and other propaganda media outlets.
Take heart, America, you are still the best the world has to offer.
