Screenshot Of The Day

As liberals are proceeding to tarnish all Republicans and conservatives as racist, it would appear one hand isn’t watching the other…

Charles Mcbride You UNCLE TOM ASS NIGGA you.

Remember, these are the same people lecturing us about civility and playing race victim when convenient. Then again, a black Republican referring to Barack Obama as “Buckwheat“….

Just where did he think that would get him?

I’m not familiar with this gentleman. who is he, aside from being a candidate?

  2. Bob says:

A Republican who referred to Obama as “Buckwheat“.

    Not smart.

  3. Nicolas says:

hey wait a minute, I think that that piece calls Corey Poitier an “uncle tom” in reverse terms “don’t you have a cabin to get back to uncle?”.

also, what is “SMH” it refers to?

  4. n.n says:

    Huh…

exploding with yells of excitement as the ex-Klansman and Republican gubernatorial candidate spewed vitriolic white-power rhetoric

Others assumed the role of rabble

Yet the bigots didn’t get the last word

    – Colbert I. King

Politicians are off limits, while the people they serve are open season. I think King and his kind miss the days of yore. When people were not represented, but ruled through fear. King will make a good governor for his allotted region, if the regressives succeed in consolidating power.

As for Poitier, he is probably as frustrated as the remainder of law-abiding citizens. What is one to do, when the rule of law is manipulated to suit the selfish delusions of a few? First task is to maintain your sanity in the face of oppression. Let’s hope the regressives do not pursue their treacherous activities.

As you all know as a commentator, I may go places where others won’t, but carefully do so and make the point. If I were running for Congress in a 57% black district, I would choose my words a lot carefully.

Something Mr. Poitier is going to learn the hard way.

  6. elchonon says:

Truth is, he was being attacked long before “buckwheat” some people just cant tolerate any attacks on “the chosen one blessed be he”

  7. Bob says:

Believe me, I understand, but what do you think his chances are NOW compared to before he used that word?

  8. elchonon says:

He just needs to come out and be frank..he posted a blog post http://blog.poitierforcongress.com/

The fact is, that sadly, the black community views conservatives as the devil… and just as sadly, so do most jews..

So you and I are minority’s amongst minority’s..

  9. Nicolas says:

“..I would choose my words a lot carefully.”

definitely, bob. Reminds me of you stressing that point last year on the FNC “Factor” interview regarding Professor Gates. sucks your run didn’t work in ’08. I suppose that continues to give you the freedom to say what others won’t, not having to deal with the press hound your reputation in front of dozens of cameras, putting the damage control machine into effect, and we love every progressive pounding second of it.

For me, since ’08, waking up to being a Republican and reading your take on the world, this has been an hour-to-hour, day-to-day process, as things constantly happen and evolve, etc. I think reading your site is doing a hell of a lot for my understanding of politics in general, and what the left is really capable of, especially at a critical crossroads – a mid-term election year. this is something I never could’ve picked up in school, and it’s definitely appreciated.

It’s unfortunate that so many of our civil servants continue to “act stupidly”. I suppose Poitier should have waited to become a politician, before joining their ranks. In any case, despite the propaganda spread by “journalists” and many for-profit “non-profit” businesses, there has already been some measure of change through the electoral process. We still have a voice in determining the future of this nation.

That said, your point is well made.

What was it, over 70% of American Jews that voted Democrat? I would have thought their judgement to be better. I am disappointed, but not surprised. There are a lot of pretenders that have made themselves known. They, like all liberals/progressives, accept a selected history, and even Israeli Jews have recognized their extreme bias. It should be interesting to observe what Netanyahu does next. Will the Israeli Jews resist or submit.

Chavez criticizes US as arrests stir concern

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Friday defended the arrest of a major TV channel owner, calling him a criminal and denying the government is carrying out an assault on press freedom.

Sometimes, the people are right, and, eventually, the Marxist tyranny — a dictatorship by any other name — is made plain. It hasn’t happened yet, but the words were spoken.

Zuloaga is accused of spreading false information and insulting the president at an Inter American Press Association meeting in Aruba last weekend, Attorney General Luisa Ortega said.

Watch your back, Poitier. I believe Dr. Manning has already received unwelcome guests. Remember, it’s not about the color of your skin, but if you support the tyrants. It always has been, and will always be.

I wonder if the progressives would rationalize slavery as “redistributive change”. Surely the slaves had labor in excess to what they could have used for their own utility. It was only fair that the slaves, through involuntary exploitation, should be coerced to share their labor with people that had less.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
    – Marx’s rationalization of slavery

How sweet. The underlying principle of liberalism/progressivism.

Money, labor… Potato, pototo… Same difference. I wonder if the moderates realize that the compromise was already made, and anything more is simply slavery revisited. Where do these people draw the line? Hopefully, the prevailing winds will usher in the restoration of individual dignity.

I hope King (of Washington Post) is paying attention. This denigration of individual dignity happened long before Marx spewed his insane visions. Long before the Europeans made their appearance on the world stage. Even before the Arabs took a fancy to the free labor in Africa. He may want to review history, before he preaches to resurrect it.

I hadn’t heard the term buckwheat in so long, I had to use google to locate the reference. It’s a cereal product, much the same as Fruit Loops, Grape Nuts or Honey Nut Bran………

  16. Richmedia says:

Actually it’s buckwheat as in buckwheat flour, and it makes great pancakes IMO. Check it out in the baking aisle at your grocer’s. The racial component comes from the black kid with the wild hair nick-named “Buckwheat” in the old Spanky and Our Gang, or the Little Rascals (same serial, different name).

No idea how the term became a pejorative, I thought that all of the kids were great. I looked into it once, there were nearly 100 kids in that series which ran for close to two decades, as I recall.

  17. elchonon says:

Corey is for real, I am meeting him for dinner.

He used the wrong choice of words.. I dont believe he deserves to be flayed for it.. I will stand behind him and support him..http://blog.poitierforcongress.com/

  18. elchonon says:

I never heard of buckwheat before..

  19. Trishmac says:

Wow, I am only amazed (once again my naïveté is showing) at the attacks on him. I mean come on, I didn’t like nor agree with his use of Buckwheat (prefer the pancake ones better myself) but seriously? I read about 15 of the first responses, and they were filled with more hate than I’ve ever seen!
