Bonehead Of The Day

Either James Zogby suffers from Selective Memory Syndrome, is a hypocrite, or a little of both (which is a good bet).

Frightening GOP Behavior
Of course, the American people have spoken, and in November 2008 elected a Democratic White House and Senate and House of Representatives. But, elections and the workings of our democracy including the idea that the losing party respect the outcome of elections appear to be alien concepts to today’s GOP.

The idea that the minority party represents the “will of the people” (not some of the people, but “the people”) is the seedling of a totalitarian mindset.

Besides the well-worn “Not my president” mantra when Republican, a Democrat win (even by the smallest of margins) automatically means the Republican victors must respect and consider their terms. You know, bipartisanship.

James Zogby has gone way out of his way to win Bonehead today.

For more Zogby, watch “Viewpoint with James Zogby” on PBS.

Only the best propaganda that our money can buy.

Not to take away from Zogby the Bonehead, but

    March on America
    – dated 03/21/2010

We should probably just turn over the keys to our businesses, homes, cars, and other property. The rule of law is hanging by a thread. Thank you, regressive liberals/progressives, and the many traitors who represent you.

I can not figure out why I keep getting shocked by the hypocrisy of the Left. It happens over and over and one would think that after a while I would be able to maturely accept that this is merely how they think and the tactic that they use to discredit those who oppose their worldview. And yet, when I read something like Zogby’s quote I find myself sputtering, “ARE YOU KIDDIN’ ME?! After all the things they said … about Bush Nazi … and we’re the ‘people’s party’ and …”

Okay, well… That did it for me. Enough news for today. Time to go out and sit in the sunshine and chill before my head explodes.

and I thought Zogby was a fair and decent pollster…guess not

  4. Igor says:

Well, Zogby just went from “watch him carefully” to “bozo”.

I’ve noticed even Fox News is starting to do some pretty bonehead things. You reading this, o’Reilly? Beck?

    A tale of two Zogbys.

James Zogby (The Arab American Institute)

    John Zogby (Pollster)

John Zogby grew up in Utica, New York, the son of Lebanese Catholic immigrants. His brother, James Zogby, is the founder of the Arab American Institute, and is also employed by Zogby International.

Separated at birth? Maybe not. It’s worth keeping James Zogby’s clear bias in mind, when considering John Zogby’s work.

re: More on James Zogby and his relation to Zogby Polling

he is a Senior Advisor for the polling firm Zogby International, where he is responsible for the firm’s groundbreaking polling across the Middle East

He obviously has a conflict of interest; but, this does not necessarily undermine the objectivity of the company’s polling services. Still, by revealing his prejudice, and considering his position in the business, it does taint the results.

I was fuming before I finished reading the first page of Zogby’s ridiculous remarks; then I read a few of the posters’ comments and couldn’t take it anymore. Then I came over here for a breath of sane air and saw your choice for the bonehead of the day: perfect!

  8. breadbasket says:

Yes, I think the respect that the Republicans have for the Democrats should be equal to respect shown to Bush 2000-2008.

    Payback is an MF.

  9. breadbasket says:

    “a MF”, my bad.

  10. OldnyFirefighter says:

So far I haven’t seen any Obama dummy’s hanging from a rope like Libs did during Bush’s time in office. I will rephrase that. There is a dummy in office, but nobody has hung a likeness of him from a rope like they did during Bush’s time in office. I must be Politically Correct!
Libs even set dummy’s representing Bush on fire, but that is not really disrespect & must be a figment of my imagination to even consider it as being disrespectful of a President. Piss ants!

  11. OldnyFirefighter says:

I almost forgot, the Dems pushing through the Obamacare bill have just increased the number of people joining the Tea Party Movement. According to one group, the phone rings as soon as they hang it up & another person or more is added to the Movement to restore the Constitution. I think the Dems bit off a lot more than they can ever chew. People are pissed off being ignored & will retaliate. I wouldn’t want to be a Democrat incumbent looking at 2010 elections.

  12. Hoss says:

    Will of the people?

Did the dems give a sh*t about the will of the people when they shoved Obamacare down their throats despite the fact that “the people” overwhelmingly rejected it.

And tell us about respecting the outcome of elections after the fit the left threw for W’s eight years.

You can’t make this leftist bullshit up….everybody would think you were being over the top.
