what if everyone just stopped. stopped working for one day. stopped buying gas one day a week. didn’t go to a checkup. went to the dentist once a year rather than twice. got by with less oil or electricity on purpose. stopped driving one day a week. Not for the environment.
Rather, fewer tax dollars to go around. If millions of people did this, would it make a dent? For if there are 50% or so who don’t work, don’t pay taxes, and just steal our money, if there is less of our money to steal, wouldn’t it affect them? Isn’t there ANYTHING we can do collectively to hurt this process??

this is the point though at which we cannot stop trying to turn things around. “they” are counting on that, breaking our spirit. Well the American Spirit is tougher than this. We can and will fight back.
Remember what a handful of colonists did a couple hundred years ago. We must be viligant (sp) and keep watch and not allow legislators to take away our other rights. If we stop now, we have lost.

SURE there is – vote the bastards out in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016. Clean house. Believe it or not, only 10 to 15 percent of the Colonists were the ones agitating for a breakaway from Mother England, but what a difference they made!

Trish, you described my mood exactly. Our country has been being stolen from us a little at a time for a long time, but yesterday was a huge grab disguised as healthcare. What else does Obama have in mind to revoke our freedom in his agenda for “transformation?”
Wars are not conceded with the loss of one or two battles.
You don’t have to pitch a shutout season to win the pennant.
