One Response to The B&R Sunday Edition

  1. n.n says:

Putin scolds Clinton, US, as if we were children

He was probably inspired by your comment, “petulant children”, Bob. I happen to agree. America’s spoiled, entitled, selfish children have come home to roost. Thank you, liberals/progressives, for sabotaging character development and advocating for more of the same. Soon, we will all be “children” serving at our masters’ pleasure.

    Corrupted compassion…

Wow, from nydailynews.com. Welcome to reality, liberals.

Khadafy is reported to have admitted that securing release for the now “greatly improved” Megrahi had dominated trade talks – including oil deals – between Libya and the government of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown

This reminds me of the “oil for food” scam run by the UN.

Not that there was ever much doubt that amoral commercial opportunism

Nope, I offered liberals the benefit of the doubt prematurely. Their all powerful central governments, politicians, and enablers were not complicit nor implicated. There may have been commerical interests; but, it was the individuals granted authority by the people, and their enablers, who made this farce possible.

Why would anyone think that the people in government are somehow different from any other human being? In fact, the individuals with power — granted by the people — have demonstrated that their corruption extends far beyond that of regular folks. Even worse, through their deception, they have demonstrated utter contempt for the people they serve.

The only stable system, which also promotes individual dignity, is comprised of competing interests. Individuals with the means to provide oversight of each others activities, to keep the honest people honest, and the criminals in check.

Mrs. Jellyby, Stuck in the Sixties

Duncan asks: “How can we assure that low-income Latino and African-American students get the same access to a college-prep curriculum, AP classes and college as other students?”

They could do as my parents did, invest in their childrens’ future, even when it meant sacrificing enjoyment of their own lives. This is the voluntary exploitation that people who respect themselves and others practice. It is free from discrimination and the involuntary exploitation advocated by liberals/progressives and enforced through litigation and legislation. It respects the individual, the group, and society.

Plainly put, the best predictor of a school’s performance is family performance — qualities of the families from which the students come.

Huh, it starts at home, who would’ve guessed? So, the liberal/progiressive policies, which promoted the sexual revolution, and resulted in the preponderance of single parent households had nothing to do with subversion of the so-called minorities, and an increasing number of majority, failures and impoverishment? It is certainly a predictable outcome; but, lacks the necessary emotional appeal of the other tales.

It would also explain why there is low correlation between high per student spending and successful outcomes. Nah, too obvious. We need more money, more toys, more indoctrination, so the benevolent profiteers will be enriched, and another generation will become dependent on the goodwill of people in the government to perpetrate “redistributive change”. Their next agenda will be “education reform” and creation of yet another slush fund for the totalitarian regime and its enablers. Wait, that’s already been done. Their next agenda will seek to increase revenue for that slush fund.

Obama order: Bring advance teams home from Asia

Obama said it makes sense to wait to travel to the region until June so he and his family are not rushed when they visit Indonesia

An article posted on WaPo, reported by AP, which clearly expresses disgust with Obama? Maybe they can blame it on his staff, again. It seems there are a growning number of liberals who are unhappy with their leader’s antics. Keep crying crises, while pursuing selfish ends, and this resentment will grow.

Ed Asner: ‘I’m always thought of in Hollywood … as the resident communist’

An advocate of involuntary exploitation, formerly known as slavery, and denigration of individual dignity. He must be so proud of himself.

    Flash mob disrupts South Street

Some people are their own worst enemy.

“Some people call,” he said. “They tell you to come down, so you come down.”

    Moron.

“It’s a bunch of young kids that are creating havoc, and it’s killing our business,” she said. “It’s scary.”

Ah, a Meghan McCain rally. Only the worst and dimmest were invited. It’s just too bad that they caused injury to others, damage to their property, and disruption of their lives. If U.S. District Judge Robert N. Chatigny is right, and there is a biological basis for poor judgement, then the morons involved were all victims of their own stupidity.

Illegals in our faces with demands again

If they can do it, then so can I. What law should I reject first? The possibilities are endless. Even murder and rape aren’t off the table, since U.S. District Judge Robert N. Chatigny, and others who share his delusions, would simply claim that I was as much the victim as the individual who was violated or whose life was ended by a misunderstood biological deficiency.

The liberal/progressive philosophical disorder is steeped in insanity that is only surpassed by other regressive regimes which actually implemented the slaughter of millions. Of course, this discounting the wholesale slaughter of emergent human life, only to protect the life of animals. Then there is their obsession with classifying people by physical characteristics and then perpetrating discrimination for their profit.
