Ray Charles, another original one of a kind! His influence on the evolution of American Music is absolutely immeasurable. He broke through so many barriers, far too many to mention here.

  2. Nicolas says:

Ray Charles was great from what I can remember. I personally got a kick out of the movie “Ray”

admittedly, I’m happy you did a “(so-and-so) night” post like this. Come to think of it, I thought the political pearl harbor that happened today would’ve taken you out of the mood of doing it, Bob

certainly has rattled ME I’m afraid…

  3. The Machine says:

I wish that movie would have shown how Ray beat addiction, a story that should have been told.

    Pawn to King 2…

  4. The Machine says:

BTW — That cut, when originally done in the studio, featured a very young Billy Preston on the organ…

  5. n.n says:

    Very nice.

    The Machine:

How else can we develop our character, but to face and overcome adversity. It would be nice if we listened to, and respected, those who precede us, but each generation knows better than the last — or so they presume. However, many don’t respect themselves, let alone other people. If they did, then they would recognize the inherent hypocrisy in the progress they promote.
