Is it all that simple, or does the president not know what he’s talking about…?

Will that 3000% savings be available in all 57 states?
Wow. When I first saw someone tweet about this I thought it was a joke. Then I thought it was another case of Obama Unplugged. But no, the teleprompters were there. Unbelievable. Well, it’s actually believable …maybe I should say, “INCONCEIVABLE!”
Drudge has a link to a London Times headline:
Barack Obama threatens to withdraw support from wavering Democrats
Barack Obama has said he will not campaign for any Democratic congressmen who fails to support health care reform.
Uh, shouldn’t that be the other way around? Vote “yes” or I will campaign for you this fall?
This old cop’s ears and eyes immediately detected the signs and symptoms of alcohol coming from the person talking.
Not drunk, but maybe just this side of “tipsy”…
“Will that 3000% savings be available in all 57 states?”
good question, IT!
He’s right. Under the Marxist system and Economics -101, the only truth is spoken by the state. Something about dictating the terms for survival. The supporters of that system will deny reality, as long as they believe that they will benefit from their association. A lot of people are already there, and many more are heavily invested.
He is not an American leader. He leads the vulnerable and selfish to their imagined la-la land. A land where “elites” rule, aided by their supporters, and the rest are left to their own devices (if it does not interfere with the “leaders” agendas). Their focus on symptoms, while ignoring the causes, have confirmed their true intentions.
Hi Bob, I don’t know about the wink, but the only Hood there is Obama. I think I would like Obama for my new accountant, he would make me a millionaire before I had my morning coffee. I still can’t understand how we got these bunch of incompetent fools running this Country. The younger generation (not including Corey & a few others) must be completely wasted or our education system has been so dumbed down that common sense is no longer included in the dictionary as a relevant word. Man, I must be just getting to old. Where the hell is my Geritol & fiber pills.
Remember, Geritol is Lotireg backwards.
Wait a minute.
No, that was the Serutan slogan, sorry.
Old fart here, CRS.
Another case of the evil Darth Teleprompter screwing with his head.
thekingtut:
That may be; but, this is not the first time Obama and his troupe of jesters have entertained us. Case in point, I give you Pelosi (she is off the teleprompter):
We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It
Personally, I don’t think the “best and brightest” respect the American people. I mean come on, where is the nuance, the obfuscation, the semantic games. Their deficiencies have become plain and obvious. They’re not even trying any more. Frankly, I’m a little disappointed. How could a bunch of jesters, clowns from yesteryear, hoodwink so many people?
Is it all that simple, or does the president not know what he’s talking about…?
Ummmmm, it kinda goes without saying that The One just flat does not have a clue what he’s doing. Hey, he’s a politician. Charm and Charisma he knows, nothing else. Couldn’t get both brain cells to fire at the same time, but can charm the candy from a baby.
The guy surrounds himself with like-minded sycophants and look what we get…
Igor

It’s been hard for me to get a handle on this guy. Does he really believe what he is saying will be good for the country, or is it all a cynical plan to subvert and change the nation? When it all comes down to it, I think the above sums it up very well.
nicholas:
With history and experience as my guide, I would select the latter. He has already demonstrated, through his words and actions, how little he cares about individuals, our (the people’s) economy, and America in general. His so-called health care reform, which focuses on medical insurance, to the exclusion of primary health issues, only confirms his motivations. Like every other public fund, the money will be held in trust, and used as leverage to pursue their primary interest policies. Furthermore, once the bureaucracy is grown, it will never diminish. However, what will diminish, is the disposable income of most Americans, and the count of American entrepreneurs.
Will the people who compose government attempt to consolidate other aspects of our economy? Will they impose totalitarian-style controls over our lives? What will they do with their newly established revenue stream? We know what people have done in the past. We know what corruption is possible in private monopolies. We also know the behavior of the current members of the elected and appointed bureaucracy. There is no reason to trust the people in government more than anyone else. I believe that competing interests are the only mechanism capable of maintaining the balance.
The Won doesn’t love America … and he doesn’t think much of Americans, either.
Very well said, n.n. I agree, and would amplify this:
“There is no reason to trust the people in government more than anyone else.”
Lately the effort from the ‘people in the know’ has been to castigate the Tea Party movement as dangerous anti-establishment types that don’t trust governmental power. So strange to hear yesterday’s Woodstock types decry having an anti-establishment mentality. Nevertheless, the nation was founded by dangerous anti-government types that did not trust governmental power. People like Jefferson, Madison and Adams. People with a lot of crazy ideas about liberty and individual freedom. That is why they placed so many checks and balances in the constitution.
Not only is there no reason for the people to extend unfounded trust in the government, there is every reason for them to keep a close rein on it, so that the people remain in control of the government, and not the government in control of the people.
