This looks like a “cracker(?) moment”. It confirms what I have suspected all along. Look to the individual for the source of societal woes. That was obvious both at the university and on the job, especially in the 90s. Many of them are in the group, “shared responsibility, but not my responsibility”, and, “luxuries first, while basics will be subsidized”. Worse yet, now they want both luxuries and basics to be subsidized, so-called “socialism” through involuntary exploitation of the productive. The regressive system where the “elites” laugh all the way to the bank after dictating mandates to control an impoverished, dependent populace. These people (i.e., “Gen Y” and others) are not setting the agenda, but they do enable it.
If the entrepreneurial class decide to leave America, the majority remaining, the “worker” class”, will suffer greatly for their arrogance.
The illegal alien invaders should all be deported. Otherwise, the social compact is dead, and it is every man, woman, and child for themselves.

PG&E, Chevron, AT&T, Philip Morris USA and Southern California Edison are also among the top 15 spenders.
No wonder they’re concerned about corporate influence. An individual and, apparently, corporations, continue to be outspent by the unions.
