Open Thread Sunday

I’ve about had it with the ilk of Keith Olbermann, who deliberately avoids the fact that there are blacks in the tea party movement, and the Democrat Party created and enforced the literacy tests Tom Tancredo (referring to illegal aliens) spoke of and Meghan McCain seems to know little about (but that’s not saying much). Let’s not forget the crack editing at MSNBC, deliberately hiding the fact that blacks do attend tea parties Olbermann insists are monochromatic.

I’m still waiting for a number of how many people of color work for Keith and how many people of color Keith associates with outside of the studio? Servants (maids and chauffeurs don’t count).

Do a Google search: “obama scolds” and you’ll find he’s talked down to both parties and members, the American people, the Supreme Court, as well as other nations. The Washington Times also saw Glenn Beck’s CPAC speech last night as a scolding to Republicans.

Personally I’m past tired of being scolded by the President of the United States, and I wonder if when scolding Republicans Beck appreciates the work being done in the trenches (for free, for years) by thousands of conservatives, trying to purge the RINO cancer?

Well I attended last September’s 9/11 rally in DC and I saw and met many black conservative men and women. In our conversations we all had the same ideals of preserving liberty, smaller government, stopping gov’t handouts to those who won’t work, and taking personal responsibility.

Conservatives of every race know that government handouts equal a form of slavery – to the government. And we know that personal responsibility goes hand-in-hand with liberty and a better life.

It’s the liberal agenda of “helping” that is causing people to submit to oppression of the government. As a Russian guy told me at DC, the more the government does for you, the less you are inclined to do for yourself, and you will lose the impetus to improve your lot in life.

First of all in order for Blacks to be a part of an event they must agree to attend. For the most part they are holding out, and will not come to the events. Whose fault is that? It is the fault of those that refuse to become a part of a movement that affects us all. Even without the presence of Blacks at these rallies, they still are reaping the benefits of our victories, and influence. It is because of these loyal Patriots that huge socialist issues have been pushed back. If they really evaluate the movement in honesty they will see that it not at all about race but about issues that affect all Americans, and issues that will determine the course of this nations future.

My advice to our fellow Americans is that they really look at the Tea Party message, and contrast that to what is happening to America by our Congress, and The Executive Branch. Then ask themselves which group is doing the most to keep America a free republic. I urge them to take a look at the sweeping liberal changes that The President, his left leaning friends and appointee’s are trying to force upon us, and ask themselves if this is good for our Constitution, and our future.

Mr. Olbermann needs to realize that you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make the horse drink. I also would like to see Mr. Olbermann invite some Black Conservative guests on his show so that they can speak up.

that is the million dollar question..I still think you could convince Beck to BE a Republican if you had some good quality discussion time with him.
Hell, DID you ever get to say ‘hi’ to him in person aside from seeing him?

also, what did Cory think about CPAC and what was the work he did? would love to hear his take on the whole experience. Hell, it would be cool if he could write a column or short piece on it maybe?

Sorry Bob. But 7 minutes of Olbermann on a Sunday morning is simply too much. After half the video was over, I was forced shower and take a couple aspirin. Sort of like going to the reptile farm and drinking oil.

  5. The Machine says:

Glenn knows what good conservative people have been doing, Bob.

    He gets it.

    He is HELPING.

You would certainly have to search high and low to find anything that even comes close to the utter contemptibly and vileness of the entire MSNBC evening lineup. Sub-human is the best way I can describe them, but I have to admit that Bath Tub Boy has got to be the worst of the worst…

  7. cmjcex says:

The best response to KO and MSNBC, et al, is to help elect conservative blacks (such as Allen West) to the house and senate and let him try to ignore that fact.

  8. Trishmac says:

I agree, he seems to have gone over the line in an attempt to prove he’s mad at both parties. All right Glenn we get it, now move on and as you say Bob, respect the work that IS being done to rectify the RINO’s and stop scolding those of us who remain Republicans, and want to strengthen the party not discourage the core.
