Can we still call them flat-earthers? There does not exist a more apt description of people who believe science is practiced on consensus. In fact, only selective science could possibly be considered to bear any correlation to the consensus advocated by flat-earthers. In addition, another nice feature of selective science, is that hypotheses are true until proven false. The latter is essential to the flat-earther driven consensus.

Reid Comes Out For Reconciliation on Public Option
Can we criticize Reid without having our motives called into question? Is it just people who did not live under a totalitarian system, that do not get it? Fortunately, the answer is no. There is another reason why so many advocate for involuntary exploitation in the name of redistributive change. I could argue it is the failure of our education system, but that is also insufficient to explain the disparity of people’s respect for one another. There just may be another motive, or incentive, that drives people to submit to their “elite” superiors, and advocate for involuntary exploitation.
Joe Stack was on his way to understanding the human dynamic. Unfortunately, he failed to fully characterize the system, which lead to his misunderstanding of the players and their roles.
