Rush Quote Of The Day

This administration must really think the American people are stupid. Their left wing may buy this bullshit, but the fact they believe the rest of us will is beyond maddening.

BIDEN:  I’m very optimistic about — about Iraq, and this can be one of the great achievements of this administration.  You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the, uh, end of the summer. You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.

RUSH:  Do you know how hard it is to really not blow a gasket when you hear something like this?  It was Joe Lieberman and Barack Obama who opposed the surge, who proclaimed defeat in front of General Petraeus. They opposed everything that led to whatever they think now is stable in Iraq.  Obama and Biden wanted to leave in defeat!  Harry Reid: “This war is lost.” These people threw the US military under the bus!  These people were doing everything they can to secure a defeat for the United States military and he has the chutzpah to go on Larry King Live and say, “This could be one of the great achievements of this administration.” Now, I know that there is rabid hatred for anything Bush in the far left of this country, and I just wonder if they even fall for this.  One of the great achievements of this administration? They don’t have an achievement, folks.  Not as you and I would measure achievements.  The Obama administration doesn’t have one thing they have done positively for this country.  I was all set to say that I think may Obama is dumber than Biden, until I heard that.

Time to check the blood pressure.

Isn’t it wonderful to be a lib president? You get to blame everything bad that happens on the previous administration. But everything good is your work.

Off-topic, but this may be of interest to B&R visitors, and the far left.

Not everyone thinks America is such a bad place.

Osama Bin Laden’s Son Warns His Successors Will Be Worse

is [there] anything his father [Osama Bin Laden] likes about the United States, Omar says “their weapons,” and nothing else

We should probably just submit and save ourselves the anguish, which is inevitable with resistance.

“I objected, and said why did you do this? What is the point? He didn’t respond. We were not more important than his big goal…and nothing would stop him from this.”

Osama is a man after the liberal/progressive’s control-freak heart.

The son of Osama, however, had praise for the U.S. saying, “They don’t care what is your race, what is your skin, where you come from, this is very good.”

Take that Industry of Racism and Prejudice. You know who you are, liberals/progressives. Stop obsessing with superficial features.

“Their mentality wants to make more violence, to create more problems.”

In August 1996 Bin Laden declared war on America from his Afghan cave, citing the fact that U.S. forces were still in the Persian Gulf.

Between Israel and America, Osama saw America as an easier target.

No wonder Clinton was hiding under his desk. Then later went after a soft target in eastern Europe.

Just cultural nuances. Nothings to see here… Just move along. Not at all similar to the Turkish girl who was buried alive.

“I am a peaceful man, but I don’t have peace”
    – Bin Laden’s son

There is so much we don’t know, nor understand, about the individual. The diversity of individuals is a wonderful thing. Embrace it, liberals/progressives. Deny your innate need to classify, group, and control everyone and everything.

Bob Parks, thank you again! Laughter is the best medicine. I could do without the cigar thing, though. Clinton really should have just smoked them.

You mean like how Democrat president Lyndon Baines Johnson signed the civil rights bill after the dems spent all those decades blocking Republican civil rights up to and including some of the most famous filibusters of all time?

    They bought it then.

They will likely buy this now.

“Time to check the blood pressure.”

luckily I didn’t have to check mine. not because of my youth, but because it was an easy pitch from Biden that I was EXPECTING would be RIGHT in Rush’s strike zone and Rush just CLOBBERED it!
