Bonehead Of The Day

Only a narcissistic bonehead would insult his audience.

There’s no doubt there’s an extreme element of the Republican Party and the conservative movement. There’s no doubt. They’re there.
Bill O’Reilly, 2/3/10 interview with Karl Rove

I guess that depends on what your definition of “extreme” is.

During the last Republican Convention, who was it that took to the streets, overturned cars, set trash containers ablaze, and vandalized private property in business districts? During the last Democrat Convention, who was it that took to the streets, overturned cars, set trash containers ablaze, and vandalized private property in business districts? During the Pittsburgh G20 Summit, who was it that took to the streets, overturned cars, set trash containers ablaze, and vandalized private property in business districts, not to mention with every meeting of the World Trade Organization wherever?

I think those were liberal anarchists. See a pattern, Bill?

During the conservative Tea Party protests (nationally), can you tell me how many reports of overturned cars, trash container fires, and vandalized private property in business districts were reported? I don’t seem to recall any.

And as for calling Mel Gibson a “pinhead” for calling a reporter with an agenda a name, at least he doesn’t abuse his crew like some people we know….

Great point, Bob. I would love to see you in the No Spin Zone with Bill O.

IT Nerd, I second that motion- emotion- whatever! Bill’s acting weak these days. I didn’t like how he responded to Joe Klein’s remarks about Glenn Beck. Or more correctly, didn’t respond. When Klein made his asinine claim that Beck’s a believer of the birther movement, he should have JUMPed at the chance to correct him, and did not. He’s not with the Beck “program” I suppose, and perhaps jealous of Beck’s ratings. But now he’s messing with his base, and he may be sorry for it.
Bob you are absolutely right-compared to the numbers of lunatic lefties who rear their ugly heads and cause havoc, the amount of “crazy right wingers” is miniscule, and they don’t come to Tea Parties en masse. No doubt they’re out there, but please Bill, where’s the proof of this extreme element?

I stopped watching Oreilly when he had his interview with the great and powerful Obama.

After that he was a numbskull and I mean that sincerely. He is a big egotistical jerk whose show is not welcome in our house.

  4. Palmetto Says:

I quit watching Bill when he came down on the side of McCain-Kennedy. When he stated it “was the best we were going to get,” I nearly lost it and haven’t tuned in since.

I caught this last night, glad you caught this, too, Bob. definite “WTF?!” moment here. I personally though “there IS no ‘extreme’ wing of the Republican Party, Bill..give me a break!”

  6. OMMAG Says:

BUT …. for that one delicious day when he made that insufferable dork Al Franken cry … in my books he gets alot of slack.
