The Obamanation is trying to “win back” Independents, is he?

“Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me!”

Somehow I think that dog ain’t gonna hunt any more…

    Igor

Reid to Obama: Lay off Vegas

Hmm, Maybe Reid realized that when Obama campaigns for something…it fails.

    Let’s build up a list here…

-Chicago Olympics (I still have laughs about that incredulous “Chicago is OUT?????” on CNN)

    -November 3rd NJ election

    -November 3rd Virginia election

    -January 19th Massachussetts election

    Did I miss anything?

  3. IT Nerd says:

In the next few weeks UhhhBama is supposed to come to Vegas to campaign for Reid.

Cant wait to see what kind of reception he gets!

Ahem — “Somehow I think that dog ain’t gonna hunt no more…”

    Double Ahem:
    “Somehow I’m a-thinkin’ that dawg ain’t a-gonna hunt no mo’…”

I just cleaned it up a bit without sounding like a redneck.

Oh! Now that’s just over the top!

    Brown Surprise: Seat Me Now!

“They’re moving forward with controversial issues and nominations. These are votes where his vote is the deciding one,”

Democrats said the sudden change of heart had the hallmarks of a Republican plot.

Jim Manley, a spokesperson for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, said that “if he wants to be sworn in tomorrow, that’s fine by us.”

Translation: this isn’t a fight that Democrats will pick.

Now they acquiesce to the will of the people? Their agendas must not be selling well. It doesn’t help that the winds are blowing cold. It could pose a problem for the future of Economics -101. Let them raise our taxes, and reap their due rewards.

  9. n.n says:

Justice Clarence Thomas Defends Ruling on Finance

“I found it fascinating that the people who were editorializing against it were The New York Times Company and The Washington Post Company,” Justice Thomas said. “These are corporations.”

“Go back and read why Tillman introduced that legislation,” Justice Thomas said, referring to Senator Benjamin Tillman. “Tillman was from South Carolina, and as I hear the story he was concerned that the corporations, Republican corporations, were favorable toward blacks and he felt that there was a need to regulate them.”

No wonder the liberals/progressives opposed his appointment.

Justice Thomas said the First Amendment’s protections applied regardless of how people chose to assemble to participate in the political process.

That would explain the participation of “non-profit” for-profit businesses, unions, and other special interest groups. The liberals/progressives abhor a level playing field, in politics, science, and every other aspect of life.

  10. n.n says:

North Carolina Schools May Cut Chunk Out of U.S. History Lessons

He may be the president who governed during the Civil War, freeing the slaves, but under a new curriculum proposal for North Carolina high schools, U.S. history would begin years after President Lincoln, with the presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes in 1877.

“We are certainly not trying to go away from American history,” Rebecca Garland, the chief academic officer for North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, told Fox News. “What we are trying to do is figure out a way to teach it where students are connected to it, where they see the big idea, where they are able to make connections and draw relationships between parts of our history and the present day.”

    First, hilarious!

Second, the left-wing lunatics remain in rare form, if delusional. Their attempts to lie, deny, and obfuscate have failed. So, they intend to progressively shift the historically relevant timeline. Unbeknownst to them, their latest attempt at indoctrination will also fail. The liberal/progressive agenda, and its old system roots, extends from prehistoric times up to and including today. Their only hope is in their population control agenda. They must remove independent, rational people from the equation, if they intend to impose their control over the submissive.

Math, science and English classes are also getting an update.

Well, if the selective science practiced by liberals/progressives is their standard, then we should expect the decline of America to continue unabated. There is more than one way to subvert the most powerful nation on Earth.

    Doctor McCoy, how’s the dog?

    He’s dead, Jim…

  12. n.n says:

    The Machine, a Trekkie, too?

Khan: We offer the world order!

That was then, and this is now:

    Scotty, we need more power!

I’m giving her all she’s got, captain!
