Bonehead Of The Day

With all the talk of “Massachusetts Miracle” and his suddenly (and prematurely) being a potential presidential candidate, one would’ve thought he’d keep his foot out of his mouth after declaring his daughters “available” on Election Night. But it’s becoming quite clear: just because he beat Mah-thaa Coakley, doesn’t make him a genius.

Republican Savior Scott Brown Now Pimping Daughter to American Idol
Winner of the Massachusetts’ Senate Deathrace™ Scott Brown pimped out his daughters on election night after he won. Now, he’s using the press from his political win to try to get his daughter Ayla Brown back on American Idol.

In an interview with Barbara Walters, given the opportunity, Brown seized the moment and made an appeal to Cowell to let her back on the show.

I call into question Brown’s common sense because I assume he remembers the audition process Ayla participated in. I also assume he must know that American Idol contestants aren’t picked based on a request by a parent, let alone a parent who’s also a United States Senator-elect.

Embarrassing his daughters on national television was a personal matter. Embarrassing the people of Massachusetts and the Republican Party is another thing and something tells me the gaffes have just begun.

    Rosalie,
One day, once my move from Massachusetts is complete, I’ll really let you know about some of the so-called Republicans (including the state party), and you’ll see why I’m waiting till I sever most ties.

  2. RosalieB says:

Bob: I’m sure you would have been different. You’re doing a lot of good in so many ways right now. Keep up the good work! I never put Scott Brown on a pedestal, as so many others did. (We’re always looking for a hero in this country). Yes, I was rooting for him to win just like a lot of other conservatives, but he’s definitely not a conservative; only in Mass. I’ve got to see what he does first. Now, I hear that he would consider running for president. Let’s take one step at a time, that’s what I say. Let’s see what he does as a senator first. I think he’s palling around with McCain already. Not good. But it’s better than palling around with radicals like our inept president.

I’d like to think I would’ve been different.

  4. The Machine says:

Any Republican who can get elected in Mass. is really a Democrat anyway.

“..and something tells me the gaffes have just begun.”

I hope that’s not the case, ’cause this is DAMN frustrating

    c’mon Scott..
