The author of the PC piece is exactly complaining that we are NOT doing enough profile. So what is he suggesting, if you are non-White and non-European , you should be suspected and searched?
We are doing exactly what these terrorist want us to do, we are beginning to mistrust anybody who is Muslim. There are some who believe we should separate out all known Muslims from the Armed Services until we can exactly determine where their loyalty lies.
Perhaps we might do better if we allowed this administration to do it’s job instead of putting roadblocks in their way so that the President can have his “Waterloo”. Take a look at the number of appointees that have been blocked or delayed for no good reason except to prevent the administration from working.

Schneier is right. Just because the criminals have every advantage, does not mean we rely solely on resilience to survive and resist confrontation. We must be proactive in preventing future incursions and invasions. Measures such as random searches are worthless, while statistical profiling has a demonstrated accuracy.
