Joke Of The Day

The phony is back (and if you see the name Ron Kaufmann anywhere near him, it’s all about Romney; not the country)

“…most of us here in Michigan know Mitt is the potential 2012 candidate with the best skills and knowledge to bring jobs back to this country.”

Actually, most of us in Michigan know no such thing. I live in the “Reagan country” of Michigan, and we’re still looking. As for Michiganians being ready to follow a Republican candidate – they stupidly voted in Her Jenniferness despite 4 years of absolutely reprehensible mismanagement! Even if Cox becomes governor, I wouldn’t trust Michiganian Democrats not to look for the most liberal, free-spending candidates in the hopes that their personal needs will be met by some nameless, faceless “rich” taxpayers.

It is certainly a matter of opinion that the left is genuinely afraid of her. I disagree with that vehemently. I do like Sarah Palin, but it’s my opinion that the left hopes she is our nominee. If you take a look at how much money was spent by the DNC during the Republican primaries, you’ll see that they spent far and away more money trying to dig up dirt on Mitt.

  3. Bob says:

I prefer Sarah Palin because the left is genuinely afraid of her. Mitt and Huckabee have baggage. Jindal isn’t ready. Pawlenty maybe, but Mitt is a phony and as a former Massachusetts resident, there’s nothing that can be said to change my mind as I’ve seen him in action, up close and personal.

  4. dnlchisholm says:

Do you like all of the other perspective GOP nominees more than Mitt? Do you think Mitt would be better than Obama? Can you think of any ways that Mitt would help the country?

  5. Bob says:

No, I haven’t, but in an attempt to try and turn around the culture of political mediocrity that was the Mass GOP, I ran for chair in 2007. Peter Torklidsen, who worked for Romney, was elected. He enriched himself with a job after Romney left. Paid himself a very hefty salary, left the state party even worse than it was (which is saying a lot), and his people still run the loser Mass GOP machine.

Again, I admire your loyalty and all the research you’ve done. But until you’ve talked to more Massachusetts Republicans who’ve endured years of his mismanagement of the state party, you really are voting blind.

When the presidential primaries come about again, I will do everything in my power to see him defeated… again.

Bob, I would never assume that living in a state made one intimately knowledgeable about a candidate. If I was new to liking Romney, maybe you would be able to sway me, but I researched long and hard for months during the summer of 2007 before I settled on Mitt. As a resident of Massachusetts, I’d think you’d realize the culture there and see Mitt signed the best bill possible in your state. He vetoed 6 provisions of the bill that have proved to be the most costly as well. Also, Gov. Patrick has made changes to the bill since Mitt left. You can’t hold Mitt responsible for that.

Just out of curiosity (it doesn’t make your opinions of mitt any more or less valid), have you read Mitt’s book Turnaround?

“NOTHING happens without Romney’s knowledge and/or blessing.”

I’m founder and admin of MittRomneyCentral.com. I did the artwork, design, hosting and installation of the site myself. I can assure you that I don’t have any communications with Romney, his PAC, or anyone with ties to him. We have no advertising and the items we have in our store were also designed and made by myself, and all funds go to support the site (though it’s not even close to breaking even.)

That’s all I wanted to mention. Thanks for the link. Mitt Romney 2012!

  8. Bob says:

“By 2012, a lot more states will be ready to turn red if Mitt is the GOP nominee.”

Yes, he can explain how to fix the universal health care mess like the one he created in Massachusetts. He can explain how to strengthen the GOP like he did with the Mass GOP, and Massachusetts was this bastion on employment (and yes, I will also credit the very liberal Mass Legislature).

I wish I could know more about a politician from another state and tell the people who live there how wrong they are.

  9. dnlchisholm says:

I’m from Michigan, and most of us here in Michigan know Mitt is the potential 2012 candidate with the best skills and knowledge to bring jobs back to this country. We’ve been in this economic downturn much longer than everyone else and we were ready to turn Michigan red in 2008. By 2012, a lot more states will be ready to turn red if Mitt is the GOP nominee.

  10. Bob says:

Well, I admire your passion. I don’t know where you’re from, but I can put you in touch with others from Massachusetts who have stories that may make you want to redirect your efforts to someone more deserving of your time and effort.

    Mitt Romney is not.

  11. dnlchisholm says:

haha, well I’ve been with the site since it launched and I’ve never had any contact with the romney campaign and we’ve actually been funding it out of our own pockets until some people start buying the stuff we made at http://mittromneycentral.com/resources/mitt-romney-2012-store/

  12. Bob says:

NOTHING happens without Romney’s knowledge and/or blessing. Remember I’m from Massachusetts, know what he did to the state party, used the state party to promote his candidacy at the expense of statewide candidates… don’t get me started.

http://mittromneycentral.com/2009/12/30/scott-brown-could-be-our-41st-vote-in-the-senate/ is a complete grassroots website with no connection to any sort of campaign. Also, this website has been up for months…
