  1. Syble says:

Ah but the Pro Bowl is being held BEFORE the superbowl this year!

That means that if Patriots are in SB, they won’t be showing up in the PB.

Tim, GREAT job with Michelle Crowley, and great backdrop.

    Happy New Year everyone!

  2. Bob says:

Now, why would Belichick pull Brady during halftime of the Super Bowl? To save him for the Pro Bowl?

  3. tegthethird says:

Bob, remember how you felt after Super Bowl XLII, when your team had a chance to solidify themselves as the greatest to ever play the game, but were beaten after pouring their guts on the field?

Now imagine how you would feel if Belichick decided to pull out Brady during halftime of said Super Bowl.

A chance at perfection, GIVEN away. Of course we’re upset at 14-1.

  5. Ilion says:

About Wallace … the “liberals” have no idea what they’re talking about. Sure, Wallace was a racist (though, I gather cynically, rather than in his heart-of-hearts … meaning that his racism was even more immoral), but there was more to his appeal than racism.

For instance … my parents wanted to vote for Wallace … but they also wanted to vote for Shirley Chisholm

  6. Ilion says:

I’m sorry, but … did she deserve to be hit?

It’s long past time we retired the chivalrous idea that no man is ever justified in hitting a woman. That idea is no longer chivalrous, but merely foolish.

  7. Lazarus Long says:

Max looked a bit “fatigued” or under the weather. You should see Mumbles Leahy after he has had a few. Not a pretty sight.

  8. dratster says:

“Mitchell Hails Success of ‘Obama Doctrine,’ Palin’s Wallace-Like Appeal ‘Does Frighten Me’ – Is Andrea Mitchell really calling Sarah Palin a racist Democrat?”

Come on, the headline , like so much in today’s news , is meant to incite.

She said, “But there’s an anger out there, and I have not seen it since my very first campaign, which was 1968 and George Wallace.”

I read this has she has not seen so much anger since the 1968 independent campaign of George Wallace. And I think she is right.

It is completely disheartening to see how American society has split itself down the middle and from one election campaign to the next we each view the “other side” as the personification of evil.

Personally, the terrorist do not need to do much to destroy us, as a divided nation I think we are well on the way to doing it ourselves.
