Have A Night Out With The Girls

Okay, it may cost a grand or two more to get all the girls…

Right now, Democracy Now! has a very special thank you gift offer if you donate $1,000 or more! Join me for either of the great events below, or select one today and give someone an unforgettable gift this holiday season.

January 13, 2010: Dinner with Naomi Klein and Democracy Now!
For your donation of $1,000 or more, you can be one of my special guests for dinner with author Naomi Klein and Juan Gonzalez here at Democracy Now!’s new studio in New York City for an intimate dinner, and then enjoy reserved seats as I talk with Naomi and Raj Patel at New York’s Society for Ethical Culture. Plus, you’ll take home a signed copy of my newest book, Breaking the Sound Barrier, as well as 10th anniversary edition of Naomi Klein’s No Logo.

But wait! There’s more…

April 13, 2010: Join me for a birthday dinner with Alice Walker
Pulitzer Prize winning author Alice Walker has offered me a great birthday present – she’ll join me and my special guests for dinner on April 13. When you give $1,000 or more, you will join us at Democracy Now!’s new studio in New York City, and then enjoy reserved seats as I talk with Alice “On Activism” at New York’s 92nd Street Y at 7pm. Plus, you’ll take home a signed copy of my newest book, Breaking the Sound Barrier, as well as Alice’s newest book.

They can’t be expecting that many takers.

It doesn’t take much to fill up a dinner table, let alone, go somewhere  later to hear Amy talk.

In the immortal words of Beavis (Cornholio) “Are you (Democracy Now!) threatening me?”

  2. Doo Says:

I had to ask myself if I could make it through the night without ripping my ears off. I don’t believe I could do it having to listen to that for an evening.

This is unrelated, but it is important to watch and learn (what we already know).

    Lazy Afghanistan Army

We need to send the liberals and progressives to the front lines. They enjoy creating and exploiting “children.” Afghanistan would be their utopia, where they will be surrounded by their own kind, the entitled and incompetent.

So, the regressives do believe in charity. They also consider involuntary exploitation (i.e., slavery) to be acceptable. What a paradox. I wonder if this little inconsistency keeps them awake at night.

So, what came first, the regressive or the simian? Their hypothesis of evolution claims that it was the simian; but, the growing body of evidence would suggest otherwise. Then again, maybe the regressive is their much sought after “missing link.” They are the simian from which they claim to have evolved.

  5. n.n Says:

Oh, one more note. MLK was right! You cannot distinguish between a regressive and a Homo sapien by the color of their skin, but only by observing the content of their character. The regressives are the chameleons of sentient, bipedal lifeforms.

Speaking of sentience. The concept of consciousness remains in the realm of philosophy. However, the regressives would claim they possess a unique and hidden knowledge, which enables them to determine the moment of its emergence. Funny… They don’t know what it is, but they can identify its existence.

So, how many unborn, or recently born, humans, must a regressive murder to determine the nature of life? I don’t know, but some mysteries should be left to introspection and the topic of philosophical musings.

Ick! No thanks… You can’t pay me enough to go out with EITHER.

I’d rather have $1,000 night with the girls at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch.

Unrelated, but I just wanted to point out that Ramirez agrees with me.

A Brief History of Settled Science

The advocates of the AGW/AGCC hypothesis are the flat-worlders of olde. They are also the proponents of the hypothesis of evolution, the “big bang” hypothesis, the “Standard Model” of everything, which may soon be replaced with the hypothesis of strings, to unite the various disparate hypotheses. All these hypotheses serve a purpose, some more than others; but, the fact remains, they do not explain anything fundamental. They are what they are, useful models, tools that serve a purpose. They should be considered a means to an end, and when their utility fails, they should be replaced with something more relevant and correlated with reality.

It’s funny how many of the old religions and the faithful matured, while some deviants never accepted the scientific revolution, and many more continue to fail in comprehending its merits, and limitations. For some reason, the regressives have difficulty separating scientific and philosophical concepts. Who knows, it may be a congenital defect, or maybe they really are trapped in la-la land.

The regressives… We know them well, and now that their utility has outlived its usefulness, we wish they would evolve/progress. We hold out a welcoming hand to the regressives — the flat-worlders. Come join us in the 21st century, but forsake your mortal gods, and seek the enlightenment you so desparately need. Do not remain beholden and dependant on your “elite” masters, and reject involuntary exploitation, slavery, in any form.

Oh, and to mock the intolerant and people of prejudice…

Merry Christmas, and to all a good night!

(From a fellow traveler, enjoying the mysteries and delights of our mutual reality.)
