Email Of The Day

Did you know it was the “right wing” that stole the emails of climate scientists? I didn’t.

Special thanks to MoveOn.org for breaking the story!

Dear MoveOn member,

President Obama recently proposed that for the first time in history the Environmental Protection Agency will enforce global warming pollution limits under the Clean Air Act. The biggest polluters like coal plants and refineries would finally have to do something to cut down their pollution.

President Obama’s proposal would not only help clean up the environment, but also create jobs by making factories and power plants more efficient and helping green technologies like wind and solar. And it’s long overdue—President Bush refused to enforce these provisions of the Clean Air Act at all, even after the Supreme Court ordered him to do so.

Of course, because it’s been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, along with the “consensus” of the scientific community, that global warming IS happening.

But the right wing is trying to stop President Obama from taking any action at all on global warming, and they’re using every dirty trick in the book.

Last month, they stole the personal emails of climate scientists in England and took a few words out of context to smear these respected researchers. Now they’re attacking President Obama for even showing up in Copenhagen.

Here’s my suggestion to MoveOn: name names.

If you’re convinced “they” (being the “right wing”), rat on whomever the suspects may be, but don’t be all vague. It would be like me talking about liberals and saying, “They fuck tipped cows”. I can imagine how upset they’d be over such an accusation, especially if we weren’t going to be specific.

Then again, I’m expecting the left to be truthful and not assume their minions aren’t sheep. I understand I’m expecting a lot.

    ‘. . . a few words out of context. . .’

Hoo boy! If you have read any of those ‘few words’ you will know the context.

‘The data are surely wrong.’ Meaning: ‘The actual data don’t agree with my theory. Who is Nature to challenge my intellect?’

Have you seen the actual source code for the modeling program? It adds numbers which will force the graph to go up, starting in the late 20th century, making it resemble — you guessed it — a hockey stick. Christopher Monckton discovered that it doesn’t matter what data you put into the model; it forces them all to make a hockey stick graph.

    Out of context, indeed.

Saw the e-mails, saw the code (yes, I’m a programmer among oter things…) Very, VERY blatant, one has to be in extreme denial to call it otherwise for what it is -”massaging” the data!

So, who DID do the “hacking” into their servers? Or, perhaps, was it a whistleblower? In my Righty, Conservative mind, whomever did the deed was a whistleblower, NOT a hacker. To a Lefty…

Yep, Bob, “name names”. Anything else is blowing smoke up our… posteriors.

There are two kinds of people who subscribe to MoveOn emails:

Those who believe everything that MoveOn says, to the point of ignoring any motive, contradiction or logic.

And those who monitor what MoveOn says, who can’t believe the degree to which millions of individuals have outsourced their ability to think for themselves.

They will never come back, unless someone hacks the MoveOn list and inundates the masses with “The Cake is a Lie.”

I doubt moveon shed 1 tear when someone broke into sarah palins e-mail.
