I agree that The History Channel is one of my (and my wife's) favs. They haven't been anything but revisionist for quite some time, though. This is just the most obvious. She read a couple of Zinn's books recently, just to get a perspective on current thought and direction in history. She read me some of it and I was appalled. The most striking thing is that he states that he takes the "orthodox" view of a particular event or time in history and assumes the exact opposite is true. That is where this People Speak thing is coming from. Be prepared for the idea of American exceptionalism to be beaten to a pulp and left on the altar of socialist guilt.
