Pushing Back Until It Hertz

HertzEveryone wants fairness except those who always seem to make demands for things everyday people are routinely denied. The pushback has begun and not a moment too soon…

Hertz Global Holdings Inc., the second-largest U.S. rental car company, was sued by former employees who say its policy of allowing Muslims to take daily prayer breaks discriminates against non-Muslim workers.

Katie Barkley and Shirley Harris, who worked as part-time drivers moving Hertz cars from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to other locations, claim Muslim employees were given as many as three paid, 15-minute prayer breaks each shift while non-Muslim employees were denied equal time off, according to the suit filed Nov. 30 in federal court in Atlanta.

It does sound very second grade, but what you do for one, you have to do for others. If it’s offensive to place or wear a crucifix in your workplace, it should be equally improper to allow others to get paid while observing religious traditions multiple times during the day.

part two, they demand that we be culturally sensitive to thiers needs. But go to their country and demand the same will you get it?

If I can not pray or show signs of my religion they should not either. They took Christian prayers out of school, but are letting Muslims have prayer time. Equality to all or none.
