Obama: The Ultimate Liberally-Used Black
To call the Democrat actions of the last few months an overreach would be the mother of all understatements. No experienced politician in their right mind would take the nation historically into debt to end a recession, during that recession propose taxing businesses and people for their energy use, use taxpayer money to buy failing banks and car companies, regulate the pay of certain private citizens, and try yet another attempt to take over the nation’s health care system.
This reminds me of the opening scene of Blazing Saddles…

What white Democrat would ever stick his neck out and attempt such potentially suicidal actions as has been demanded by the left of Barack Obama (and they have been very demanding)?
Bill Clinton (early into his first term) wasn’t stupid enough to attempt a takeover of one-sixth of the United States’ economy.
He got his wife to do it.
She was a woman, thus deemed untouchable by the media and opposition. We all know what happened after that and other screw-ups: Democrats lost control of the House and Senate.
No politician was stupid enough to try that again…

Barack Obama’s only crime is that he’s allowed himself to be used by a chicken-shit, white progressive movement that would never politically martyr one of their own to the extent they have this president.
Would Al Gore or John Kerry ever attempt all the things Obama’s supporters have demanded of him in eleven months of his first term? I think not, but as liberals have little respect for black people, it’s no surprise they would use the first black president to get what they want as Barack Obama is less than garbage to them.
Don’t get me wrong; it takes two to tango and they needed to find a black person who was willing to sell his soul (and they did). Barack Obama and his family are living large, a small price to pay for being a willing dupe who’d throw out a long-term future in politics for one short term in the big house. Will he live large later? Sure, he’ll get paid, but for now he’s doing what he’s told, reading what’s written for him to say, and he’ll push the radical agenda as far as he can. The left will play the race card as his cover, and they’ll get their way without losing one prominent white Democrat. At least that was the plan until Pelosi, Reid and others strayed from the playbook.

Look at the last presidential election. Barack Obama told us (for the most part) what he wanted to do, and the patronizing mainstream media lauded him for his courage. How many former presidential candidates ever made the socialist promises Barack Obama did (aside from Dennis Kucinich and Sheila Jackson-Lee types)? And speaking of Sheila Jackson-Lee and Barbara Lee types, the black Democrats who usually get the most attention from the liberal wing are the ones who say and do the most ridiculous things; things very few white Democrat officeholders would in public.
Heard much from Al Franken lately…?
Democrats love using black people. Every two years, Sharpton and Jackson have to remind Democrats not to take the black vote for granted. Every two years, blacks vote 9:1 for Democrats and the same shit they were complaining about two years ago still ain’t fixed. Whether government should be expected to help anyone is a discussion for a later date, but the fact remains liberals don’t respect black people and continue to use them for any political advantage they can get.

However our nation looks a month from now, six months from now, years from now, remember that we’ve seen our nation transformed in a way none of us could ever imagine, and given the way black people are portrayed by the left, no black person will ever be trusted with this kind of power again. Liberals will have gotten their way and they didn’t have to lose any of their horses at all.

I think if Chairman Steele can hopefully get his ducks in a row, and be more effective, he can lead the charge for conservative black politicians to be trusted more so than their ironic liberal counterparts (who are sadly) across the isle

There are enough people of integrity, that remain open to the message, independent of the messenger. We will judge each person as they step forward.
It’s too early to predict, but from the present candidates, the next president may be a conservative woman. It could also be black. If he is legitimate, then Allen West has the potential to lead.
One good characteristic of conservatives, while they are nationalists, they are not discriminatory based on ethnicity or religion. We do discriminate on principles. Namely the principles upon which this nation was founded and developed.
Good luck to all people who support the principles espoused by the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and related articles.

Spot on Bob! The liberal Dems also use any inner-city group, and their favorite vote cows – the UNIONS! All these groups have their pimps – all tell their people that the Government” should be doing more for them. Just vote for the same/next bunch of Progressive Democrats, and all their problems will be solved. 80% of the union manufacturing jobs cira 1944 are in India and China. Tougher to ship minorities overseas – just keep ‘em on the dole – or give ‘em govt jobs . . . . And be SURE to dumb down the schools so they don’t figure out the trick. OK, let’s “organize” you . . . . that should work.

It’s awful to see on the street… I met an older black lady at an ROTC carwash her grandchild was at, and she just kept going on about how all this terrible stuff her family has had to endure was all Bush’s fault. I just stood there going… umm… well some of it yes… but I pointed out that all the government at this point was to blame. And what about since the election? And that blind mindset is SO pervasive yet how can I respectfully tell this kind lady she has been led astray? Simply put, “I” can’t.

Yup Bob, I think you nailed this one. Though complicit in their plan, Obama is being used. I’ve been trying to put it all together, and still held out some hope that he was only being badly advised; but now it seems much clearer and I thank you for putting the pieces together.

I have stated to my husband many times since Obama was elected that he’s a ‘puppet’ with Axelrod , Pelosi and others with their hands up his um um his backside to direct what he says and does. We have to hope more and more people of all races open their eyes to what Obama and his goonies are doing to this country.

When the majority of us are willing to accept personal responsibility and not expect the Gov’t to spoon feed us. Unfortunately, that seems a remote possibility for many folks, they just wander around with their hand out.
My wife has pointed out that the left perspective of government is to “take care of the citizens”, while the right is for the government to protect the citizens’ ability to live their life in a peaceable society. Vastly different viewpoints that will not meet.
