So, the problem is that the scientists who rigged numbers and considered destroying evidence sought in a Freedom of Information request weren’t “discreet”.

Every single comment that an expert reviewer provides has to be answered either by acceptance of the comment, or if it is not accepted, the reasons have to be clearly specified. So I think it is a very transparent, a very comprehensive process which insures that even if someone wants to leave out a piece of peer reviewed literature there is virtually no possibility of that happening.
Now I’m no climate scientist, but how can you have “peer reviewed” anything if you have nothing to review…?
Scientists at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.
It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.
I really hope the next Republican congress, senate, and president votes to de-fund the United Nations’ residency here in America so we can kick these lying, diplomatically-immune weasels out of our country, once and for all.

The “best and brightest” are the worst and the dimmest. Who do they think they’re fooling? What do they believe will be the response from people around the world? Has Pachauri spent any time with the Chinese, Indians, Russians, Brazilians, et al? You can continue to obfuscate, deny, and lie, but the facts are now in the open, and your establishment is no longer capable of hiding your true motivations and intentions.
I could refer to them as evil, since I disagree with exploitation of some individuals for the benefit of others; but, that should not be necessary. After all, the slaves in America, and around the world, were only exploited for the benefit of their owners. Surely the same involuntary exploitation, and enslavement, is justifiable on the same grounds today, right?
Are you paying attention, plantation throwbacks? The very institution you have condemned, you now support. Of course, we all know that Obama is not acting alone. So my condemnation of simians is not restricted by shape, size, color, ethnicity, or religion. Although, it is limited to members of the NRO (New Religious Order), who will not be swayed by physical evidence from pursuit of their selective science.
Note to the “peers” in the peer review process: You cannot review each other’s work to establish credibility and legitimacy. Quite the opposite, you have revealed your fraud and egos for all the world to see.
This is the kind of science that only zealots and fanatics would consider acceptable. In any case, continue your blind faith in your mortal gods and your own magnificence, and witness the repulsion of humanity.

On the evidence of integrity, or rather lack thereof, does anyone else recognize the similarities between the Inquisition of yesteryear, and the agenda of the liberal/progressive movement?
On a related and relevant note, will the WTO protestors have a presence in Copenhagen? Will they stay true to form and conviction, will they take yet another holiday, or will they continue their act of illusion and distraction, in support of their masters? Is it time for people of seemingly diverging interests to synchronize and focus on the problems at hand, as different and unrelated as they may at first appear? Will the Conservatives be blamed, once again, for the failure of their self-serving agendas?

The photo of this bonehead reminds me of some of the zonked out crack heads I have had to pick up by ambulance & transfer to the Psycho Ward of the Medical Center. If these are the people the UN are listening to, we will probably freeze to death by 2012.
