I have seldom felt so alone. Confronted with crisis, most of the environmentalists I know have gone into denial. The emails hacked from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia, they say, are a storm in a tea cup, no big deal, exaggerated out of all recognition. It is true that climate change deniers have made wild claims which the material can’t possibly support (the end of global warming, the death of climate science). But it is also true that the emails are very damaging. The response of the greens and most of the scientists I know is profoundly ironic, as we spend so much of our time confronting other people’s denial. Pretending that this isn’t a real crisis isn’t going to make it go away. Nor is an attempt to justify the emails with technicalities. We’ll be able to get past this only by grasping reality, apologising where appropriate and demonstrating that it cannot happen again.

I don’t think he’ll be alive long enough to apologize for all the money spent on all things “green”, terrified kids who went to bed crying, impressionable young people who wasted years of their lives for a sham, and the people Monbiot still calls “deniers” who are ridiculed to this day for just wanting the truth.
The only crisis he’s bemoaning is that his fellow lying snakes are stone cold busted, AND could all go to jail for a long time.
For decades, his ilk sought to not only show uniformed disagreement with those who denied the bullshit he was selling, but they also tried to destroy the reputations and careers of those who only sought the truth. A truth motivated by a lust for power and money. And forgive me for coming off as an unlicensed clairvoyant, but if not for the emails being leaked, the Monbiots of the global warming-climate change hustle would be continuing their business as usual, seeking to destroy those that had the nerve to challenge their lies.

These people never cease to amaze me. They pull all this crap, may end up doing jail time for laws that may or may not get enforced and they still continue to lie about the information. I mean really the emails they wrote explained that this is what they need to do.
I never thought the left was actually that stupid. This past few months has shown me that the people on the left really are just as stupid as they sound and they prove it by there actions. WOW

The truly retarded thing is the guy that said this……STILL believes that global warming is true, his faith that it is true hasn’t been shaken one bit. He still calls anyone who doesn’t believe in global warming a denier.
These peoples devotion and unwavering faith puts a suicide bomber to shame.

nope, it’s part of the alinsky rules and methodology: freeze the issue, and beat everyone over the head with it. truth and facts have nothing to do with what these folks are up to. if that were the case a huge pile of real scientists would have stood up years ago, faced algore, and stood fast that consensus is not a part of the scientific method. but they were afraid of losing their research grants like the few who did stand up and wave the BS flag early on. so on to alinsky, who adheres to the old saw: ” if it is said long enough and loud enough it is believed as the truth.” that is facts notwithstanding.
