I can understand if he can’t see a correlation between milder summers, longer winters and the convenient re-brand from “global warming” to “climate change”. But with all the recent news about emails where so-called climate scientists’ hacked emails show them fudging data models to keep the agenda alive, you’d think people would find a more secure seat on the bandwagon…
Since the 1997 international accord to fight global warming, climate change has worsened and accelerated — beyond some of the grimmest of warnings made back then.
As the world has talked for a dozen years about what to do next, new ship passages opened through the once frozen summer sea ice of the Arctic. In Greenland and Antarctica, ice sheets have lost trillions of tons of ice. Mountain glaciers in Europe, South America, Asia and Africa are shrinking faster than before.

The Associated Press should get their money back.

the really scary thing is that this scandal will likely have little to no effect on the BS that will be the Copenhagen meeting.
Trillions of tons? We can only hope. Someone ought to do the math.
Ice weighs 4.218 billion tons per cubic mile (that’s right — 5280 feet per side, including straight up if it’s a regular cube). That means a trillion tons is 237.08 cubic miles. And that’s if it is really, really solid ice, with no entrained air.
C’mon.
Anyway, are the Inuits in Greenland complaining? Would you rather live on land or on a glacier?
Y’know what amazes me, Bob?
The Fox News website running the “The Polar icecaps are melting at an unprecedented rate” stories WITHout telling the other side of the story – that on other parts of the world the cap is *thickening*!
Even Fox News is infested with Useful Idiots.
