Now we know whom to blame for all those who are so ignorant as to not believing in global warming-climate change….
The Sun.
Global warming appears to have stalled. Climatologists are puzzled as to why average global temperatures have stopped rising over the last 10 years. Some attribute the trend to a lack of sunspots, while others explain it through ocean currents.
At least the weather in Copenhagen is likely to be cooperating. The Danish Meteorological Institute predicts that temperatures in December, when the city will host the United Nations Climate Change Conference, will be one degree above the long-term average.
Thank God.
But don’t tell those little kids who’ll go to bed crying tonight about drowning polar bears, or the teachers who’ll spend a few class hours each week telling their students how they can help heal the planet by ratting on their inconsiderate parents, or the young supermodels who stripped on video for a cause that is bogus (and the wet dreams of 360.org boys), or the television network that tinted its logo and programming green, or the Hollywood intelligentsia that’s been suckered into putting their own dollars into the scam, the Motion Picture Academy that got Milli Vanillied by Al Gore, and I could go on.
And whatever you do, don’t tell President Obama. You know how he gets if he thinks he doesn’t look good.

Been saying this for over 40 years, Bob – I was only 17 at the time that I found out (and not through the public schools, but on my own) that it’s the Solar Wind and activity that determines just how quiet the weather is going to be on the Earth. A coronal mass ejection (CME) plays a part, but it’s sunspot activity that determines just how”rough” (a non-scientific term…) the weather is going to become. The “Solar Weather” is what drives OURS.
The sun has been very quiescent for over two to three years now, a Solar Minimum Activity, of which our good weather predictors at Poor Richard’s Almanac have been using to (accurately!) predict the weather for some time now. No, as far as I know Ben didn’t examine the Sun when he was writing the first volumes, but somehow he had a very good track record. Don’t ask me how.
I remember the alarmists in the 70’s saying “burn, baby, burn!”, and they weren’t talking about political events, they were saying we had to pour heat into our atmosphere to keep the Coming Ice Age away. Matter-of-fact, wasn’t one of the Obamanation’s czar’s one if the idiots doing the screaming?
I believe in Global Climate Change. Every year. Like clockwork.
