And as if Human Rights around the world isn’t enough, don’t forget all the animals who have rights as well!!

  2. Ilion says:

Really? You deserve thus-and-such? On what grounds? What did you *do* to deserve thus-and-such? And, more pointedly, what did you *do* such that you both deserve and possess the “right” to use the threat of violence and/or death (for that’s what we’re talking about here, after all) to force everyone else to pay for the thus-and-such which you assert that you deserve?

  3. ex-pat Michael says:

“Two years from now I will be diagnosed with terminal brain damage from watching the MSM. My parents will have gone broke before then because they are forced to pay for a plan they didn’t want instead of going to jail. What’s worse is that I will still have to wait a couple years for this wonderful government plan to become active. If I last that long, I will have to wait in line and possibly be treated with a group of peers waiting in a long line with the same issue (and I know there are many of us) if I receive treatment at all.”

  4. n.n says:

I deserve to be treated as an individual with an inherent dignity, free from involuntary exploitation.

I deserve a childhood spent on the beaches of Hawaii, a private school education at the expense of the productive, a judgement-free academic career, a judgement-free legislative career, a pass on all my faux pas, vacations at the expense of the productive, a fawning press, a cult complete with deluded followers, a Nobel Peace Prize, etc.

I also deserve a Ferrari, an estate on a beach in Hawaii, etc.

While we’re on this topic. I want left-wing lunatics to remember the people without a voice, the discarded, the unwanted children that never have an opportunity to say, “I deserve…”

  5. girzwald says:

Yes. These children do deserve healthcare.

Someone tell these brats parents to get off their asses and buy a policy. Gee,maybe if there weren’t so many illegals burdening our system, maybe we could afford to take care of the legal citizens.

I’ll pay an extra 20 cents for my head of lettuce. They are already almost 2 bucks.

  6. Syble says:

Listened a few minutes to CSpan and a Repub Senator made the point that in the age group from 23 to 34 (I think that was it) when a person is likely in good health, they will have to pay 69% more for their Insurance premium than the people who are overweight, in poor health and who smoke.

I guess the huge premium is to help out the poor fat slobs.

  7. lpswampy says:

If these kids don’t have insurance it’s their parents fault for not signing them up for SCHIP.

  8. Lazarus Long says:

I received a response from Sen. Bernie Sanders after I contacted him (complained) about the gov’t attempt at health/medical coercion. His statements were along that line. I quote: “A universal health care system …. is something every American deserves” and “I feel passionately that each and every American should have the right to quality health care.” These appeals to “deserves” and “rights” are firmly embedded in the Prog/Lib talking points.

  9. Syble says:

    ARGHHHHH……

STILL everyone DOES have access to health care – NO hospital can refuse to treat someone for lack of coverage.

If Barack Hussein Obama mmm… mmm.. JERK wants to impose insurance coverage to take care of those without coverage – just DO IT! Don’t touch OUR insurance.

Of course the scam is that they use the word REFORM and it’s anything but reform. It’s the government mandating participation and taking control of our lives.. and we here know that. Pity the gimmees out there think only of themselves.
