When I heard about his comment on the KSM trial, I thought the same thing: "and this guy is supposed to be a lawyer?!?" I wonder if he was trying to taint this from the top, before the thing gets started?

Maybe there needs to be a change of venue. I would just about guarantee a death conviction if he were tried here in AL. I would likely be somewhat shorter here rather than there. 'Course, he might not make it to the courtroom the first day either.

Yet another Bonehead that would be a "douche bag".

Finally, A Congressman With a Solution: Stop Complaining So Much

From time to time, we all experience anxiety, frustration, stress, and regret. And often, we respond to these feelings with a criticism or a complaint. Regrettably, complaining keeps people stuck on current problems, inhibiting them from thinking constructively to find solutions. Research has also shown that complaining can be harmful to one’s emotional and physical health; relationships; and can limit professional career success.

Our congress at "work". Guess the party affiliation.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but all of the Boneheads deserve to be recognized.

Dave J:

He claims to be a lawyer, but even laymen possess better judgement. He's probably just another wise whatever.

I am not sure if this is a condemnation of Obama or of Harvard's vaunted legal school. This is so sad. If the regressives' solution of more money is correct, then Harvard needs a massive infusion, stat!

Team 44 will hose this all up way before it gets to trial. POTUS needed a news anchor today to tell him to be careful with what he says:

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

More Obamateur Hour [Andy McCarthy]

In a meeting with the press in China, President Obama said that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed would be "convicted" and had "the death penalty applied to him" . . . and then said he wasn't "pre-judging" the case. He made the second statement after it was pointed out to him — by NBC's Chuck Todd — that the first statement would be taken as the president's interfering in the trial process. Obama said that wasn't his intention. I'm sure it wasn't — he's trying to contain the political damage caused by his decision — but that won't matter. He has given the defense its first motion that the executive branch, indeed the president himself, is tainting the jury pool. Nice work.

I forgot these gems:

considering ways to accelerate economic growth, with tax measures among the options to give companies incentives to hire

You think? The economy is by the people, for the people. Returning the people's wealth may just be a way to spur economic activity.

Obama said in the interview with Fox conducted in Beijing

Fox, huh. What is a fellow to do, when the people reject his preferred outlets. Will the left-wing follow their leader, or continue to wander into obscurity? Yes, I am confident that the will of American citizens has been heretofore misrepresented.

Another Bonehead:

Obama: Too much debt could fuel double-dip recession

if we keep on adding to the debt, even in the midst of this recovery, that at some point, people could lose confidence in the U.S. economy

The Chinese have spoken and Obama now recognizes that his rejection of economics 101 was a mistake. Of course, it hasn't helped that even liberal media outlets have held him accountable for his false claims.

Do you think Pelosi will call him un-American, or worse?

This is not good. At this rate, I will either run out of popcorn or soda. Neither alternative is desirable.
