   “End Clinton-era military base gun ban”

   While I was in the Air Force (May 2001 – July 2006) you had to leave your personal firearms at the base armory. Any time you wanted to use them you had to fill out a form explaining why you were checking out your personal weapon, what you were planing to do with it and where you were going with it.

   I was lucky and lived off base so I didn’t have to do that, unless I wanted to bring my pistol on base, but a friend of mine had a shotgun he had on base. When he checked it out on the last weekend of the month for cleaning he had to leave the base because he wasn’t allowed to bring it into the dorms.

   glad you think that too. I’m starting to question his motives. I’m tired of him periodically supporting and possibly aiding Obama in some of these social programs with things like schools, etc. Newt is correct however in that the 2010 midterms will be destructive..for the DemoKKKrats come November. BYE BYE!

   I think any time Newt, Michael Steel, and other such “republicans” tell us what to do, or try to warn us. It means we are doing something right.

   Newt is in survival mode right now. All they care about is “the party” and to hell what that party is made up of or its principles.

   I’ll vote for a D over an R any day of the week if hes the right person for the job.

   Having lived in the orient for nearly 8 years, Obama’s bow is a disgrace. He is not showing respect, he is showing that he is worthless to the Japanese, and that he is of little worth himself. Equals bow while looking in each others eyes. Or is he not the leader of a world power???

   O/T – Hey did anyone else see this week’s episode of “V”? The crowds were cheering for “hope” and “change” at about 20 minutes into the show.

   End Clinton-era military base gun ban:

   The only problem with this statement is that the gun ban on bases goes back even farther than Clinton. Anyone returning to CONUS was required to turn in weapons and keep private weapons at the base armory. It has always been that the BASE Commander of any base could authorize, whoever he wanted to wear weapons, for security purposes. While I was in Vietnam the only place we weren’t allowed to carry weapons was into the EM club or when we went to an Air Force base.

   It’s obviously ridiculous. Our Armed Forces should be allowed to be armed, just as our citizenry.

    The Democratic Party is enslaved to and controlled by the leftists; until the leftists are kicked out and can never regain control of that party, no one in his right mind should vote for *any* Democratic politician for *any* position, no matter how minor that position is.
