Burning Man Obama

A sculpture by Chinese artist Liu Bolin titled “Burning Man Obama” is tested at a workshop in Beijing November 11, 2009. The sculpture represents U.S. President Barack Obama’s impact on the world.

“Impact on the world”. I would be very interested to hear the Sharpton/Jackson critique of this important piece of art.

    … hear the Sharpton/Jackson critique …

They are rather interchangable, aren’t they?

  2. IT Nerd says:

I thought that was Michael Jackson. :p

  3. The Machine says:

    Chinese?

Sharpton and Jackson will LOVE it then.

    Naked Emporer and all that…

China has more “freedom of expression” than America! Here in America, we no longer enjoy our “freedom of expression” with peace of mind. Nope, we have to worry that the bullets will be hitting our home (like lou dobbs), because he is anti-illegal activities. Imagine that against illegal activities! We have to worry about losing our jobs if we say we respectfully disagree with the homosexual lifestyle. (like in the case of the bookstore employee in MA).

    It’s simply too sad.

  5. Cindy says:

Oh, and I forgot…we have to worry about being “sucker punched” if we disagree with some other “man” on “white privilege”.

    OMG- is that Richard Pryor?
    Sorry, bad bad joke.
I am not sure that I could spin this work of “art” to represent Obama’s positive impact on the world, but hey, I’m not a Chinese artist
