Dobbs: Next Stop, Fox?

Where do successful news personalities wind up when they’re pressured into leaving successful shows? Beck, Stossel…. How about Fox News?

Lou Dobbs, the longtime CNN anchor whose anti-immigration views have made him a TV lightning rod, plans to announce Wednesday that he is leaving the network effective immediately, two network employees said.

Sorry, this is a New York Times piece. “Anti-immigration” should read “anti-illegal immigration”, but you know how they spin things.

Mr. Dobbs met with Roger Ailes, the chairman of the Fox News Channel, in September. At the time Mr. Dobbs was viewed as a potential hire for the Fox Business Network. But a Fox spokesperson said Wednesday, “We have not had any discussions with Lou Dobbs for Fox News or Fox Business.”

Let’s see what happens tomorrow….

Fuzzlenutter, my vote is for Shep, Geraldo, Billy and Juan all go somewhere else. Let ‘em join Mike Rowe on Dirty Jobs or something.
Don’t get me started on Greta…

    Stossel and now Dobbs.

    We are well represented.

Let’s hope that more people choose liberty over submission.

Please let him show up on Fox News and have both Shep and Geraldo disappear forever…
