		<description>I have to agree in part with Barbour.  Whenever I discuss politics today with liberal friends, the inevitable retort is &quot;It&#039;s because he&#039;s black, right?&quot;.  No, silly.  It&#039;s because of lessons from history and my own family&#039;s experience with totalitarian governments.  The irony in this is, that the same people protesting government interference before, are now the loudest proponents of the present attempt to consolidate power and curtail our Creator-given rights.  Some people just don&#039;t get it, and, unless they experience the oppression first-hand, never will.</description>
