‘Now that they passed it, will Dems survive 2010?’
If the memory of the public is long, they will get massacred in 2010. But if they successfully distract people, who knows?
We will get a better look at the bill, now. Let the conservative media keep dragging out pieces. Let them see these sneaky, lying sociopaths for what they really are. This is Chicago-style, apparently Pelosi is learning fast. Mislead, sneak in what you want at the last minute. minimize debate, and vote quick. Despite successfully executing all of that, the vote of an overwhelmingly democrat congress won by 2 democrats and one turncoat republican who took a democrat’s seat in a democrat district. Some f*****g mandate.
You know what happens when you shove food down someone’s throat too quick. Payback is MF and I predict it will be enough to sting them good. Especially if the senate rams it through.
Oh, by the way, 219 democrats and 1 republican is not bipartision, despite the coming spin. One of the congressman spoke to the media after the vote and had the gall to say it was a “bipartison” bill.
No f*****g way. You guys own this bitch.
With 36 seats up for re-election next year, the Senate is going to be VERY cautious about this health care bill. Either that or there is going to be alot of subterfuge and misdirection.
man I love IBD cartoons, and they’ve created another bull’s eye with this one
“Now that they passed it, will Dems survive 2010?”
NO!
“Obama’s Favorite Republican?”
a RINO sadly..
“Suspected shooter sent to Fort Hood for ‘fresh start’”
weird.
I sent off a text message of concern to my buddy who’s in the army, a solid guy by the name of Staff Sargent Jerry Silva, stationed at Fort Bliss (on the far west side of Texas). He said he was fine and that 33 of their soldiers were at Hood to help train a Brigade but weren’t involved. Was happy to hear that
“‘Islam not responsible’ for Fort Hood massacre: US imam”
so the shooter DIDN’T say that muslims need to “rise up against the aggressor”?
“State Worker Beat Up At SEIU Meeting”
‘And the right is portrayed as potentially violent’
I know..I wish the SEIU would beat up their own (or is that what happened?)
“Looking to 2010, GOP focuses on fiscal restraint”
‘This will be a tough sell from the messenger, seeing how it was Republican fiscal irresponsibility that gave us a Pelosi-led Hill’
given the HYPER fiscal irresponsibility OF the Pelosi-led hill, it will be an easy sell, when we get our act together by drawing a line in the sand, saying “THIS is where we stand”, after cleaning house and pulling weeds
“George W. Bush makes secret visit to mourning families at Fort Hood”
class.
“Many California jobs ’saved’ by stimulus funds weren’t in jeopardy”
‘Do you know anyone whose job was “saved”…?’
nope, all I know is, the “stimulus” came to town, in my hometown. I suppose we NEEDED it, given some of the roads are crappy, among other things
