Now that is one ship I would love to be aboard. I was never able to fulfill my dream and join the Navy. I wanted to be a submariner, but it would not work out at the time. After following the building of the USS New York, I think I could serve aboard her. I followed the building because a lot of my family used to work in the Avondale Ship Yards. Think about it; a ship, built from the towers where thousands died, delivering over 800 US Marines who will probably be a more than a tad pissed off. With the house passing (Almost) Universal Health-care, where does that put the large number of 100% disabled veterans who get health-care from the V.A. hospitals without having to get insurance? My disability check is only $2,297 a month and I can't afford health insurance. When I last priced it, it was going to cost me almost $700 a month for just me.
