Ft. Hood Suspect Made ‘Outlandish’ Comments Condemning US Foreign Policy
“He said, precisely, that maybe the Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor.”
The president came out and offered some comments on the Fort Hood shooting… after taking care of more important business.
The shooter’s name is Major Malik Nadal Hasan.

I suppose loyalty does matter. They should have conducted this investigation long before people are murdered. Too little, too late.

ya this was frightening..I have a buddy who’s at Ft. Bliss texas, a Staff Sargent, but I found out Ft. Bliss is on the west coast side of Texas, and Hood is basically in the center

When I first heard about this I figured it was a soldier that didnt receive the mental health treatment they needed. But, it’s hard to believe that (possibly) 3 people lost their fricking minds at the same time.
I hate to agree but I’m also thinking Muslim hit.

I know jumping to conclusions is wrong, but I’m so sick of all the talking heads on TV saying “The shooter was a recent convert to Islam and expressed his displeasure at being deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan. We don’t know what the motive was.”
Duh! As if no one who sees a pattern here?

also I heard the shooter was NOT killed…NOT killed, but stable and in custody, as reported by one of the soldiers at the press conference

I love how he is the SUSPECTED shooter in the press now…. WTF???? there is no SUSPECT about it. He was killing people, they gunned him down while he was doing it…
I was crying earlier when I saw this, I am a vet, my sister is active duty at the moment and all I can think of is… a soldier signs up knowing he (or she) might die, but expects it to be in combat.. not at the hands of a fellow soldier.
As a former Arab linguist in the army, I knew plenty of both Arabs and muslims in the army… and sad though it is, very few would ever do something like this. They signed up because they were Americans now and proud to be such. And to think there was a time when I was young and impressionable that I almost converted… it’s very seductive if you are vulnerable.

*There were reports of more than one shooter at the beginning.
*Some time AFTER the initial incident, there were reports of gunfire elsewhere on the base. There was even one news video that showed that at the time.
*There were reports of RIFLE fire. More specifically, “M-16″ rifle fire was reported, by Army personnel who should know the quite distinctive sound of the 5.56 round breaking the sound barrier.
*Then we are told that there was just the one shooter and that the one shooter was dead.
*Now the shooter apparently got better?
This looks and smells like a duck.

interesting news to report – for all the flak FOX gets..I just saw an ABC News Nightly report that MENTIONED FOX as a SOURCE of a piece of information, the interview with man who knows Hasan
