Can The Skins Make A Run?

Sad RedskinsFood for thought.

There’s a lot of local hatin’ going on regarding the poor play, coaching, and ownership of the Washington Redskins. But is there a possible win streak looming? Before some of you begin to question my sanity, ponder this given the knowledge of the “on any given Sunday” quirks.

The Redskins’ remaining schedule is mostly merciless: at Atlanta, Denver, at Dallas, at Philadelphia, New Orleans, at Oakland, New York Giants, Dallas, and at San Diego.

As much as they have good coaching, it’s only natural that some of these teams may look past the Redskins to a more competitive opponent. That means, with the possible exception of Oakland, EVERY upcoming contest could be a “trap” game.

Conventional wisdom states that the Redskins may only win one of their last nine games.

Maybe, but on any given Sunday…

It would be nice to see them make a good run. Yesterday I dropped Westbrook and signed Portis.
