Video Of The Day
Maybe this will get that Perez Hilton/Lady Gaga visual out of your heads…
The Firecrackers are a performance jump rope team that performs at basketball half times across the USA. This is a video of their performance at the Army vs. Navy game last April.
This talented bunch of 4th through 8th graders are part of a program at the Kings Local School District in Ohio. The jump rope team was established 13 years ago by physical education coach Lynn Kelley. The team practices 2 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week.
Now I really feel old.

Sort of puts Michelle O’s double-dutch skills to shame. These girls are awesome!
One question — how does one prepare for jumping rope on your knees? Seems like there will be some orthopedic surgeons making a little cash in the coming years. Then again, if Obamacare goes through, they may just get pills.

Nothing will ever get Perez/Gaga out of my head- that visual is burned into my brain.
This was quite cool though, and what a talent they have!

Those children are amazing, I watched them at the half-time show.

The last time I tried to jump something, it was a fence. Unfortunately my brain & body have a different perception of age. I jumped it ok, but unfortunately for me my trailing foot caught the top rail & launched me head first into a nice fresh pile of horse pucky. Although I didn’t get hurt, my ego suffered a bit as my wife, daughters & half of the neighborhood had to be there to see me make an ass out of myself. Nothing compares to a mouth full of horsey poop for lunch. I did learn one thing though. Don’t try to fool an old body into thinking it is 40 years younger than it actually is, especially in front of an audience. Those kids are awesome & I am definitely not about to try anything like that.

Can we get these girls on a USO tour for the guys in A-stan or Iraq?? Absolutely A-maze-ing!

First, WOW!
Second, health care reform 101. It’s not as difficult as our politicians would have us believe.
Thanks, Bob. I continue to be impressed by individuals and desire to realize their potential.

I hate to add insult to injury, but…
Ironmanlife: There’s No Stopping Harriet Anderson
Anderson would climb onto the stage as the oldest women’s finisher and, of course, once again, the 70 to 74 age group champion.
If nothing else, it should serve as motivation. There is life after 70.

Wow. That was impressive. Anyone happen to catch the free-running championship yesterday? That was equally amazing. Love seeing athleticism perfected and executed flawlessly. Great stuff Bob!
