Scozzafava Out: RINO Purge Victory

Dede ScozzafavaThis should give the Republican Party and it’s wannabes within cause for reflection.

Republican Dede Scozzafava has suspended her bid in next Tuesday’s NY 23 special election, a huge development that dramatically shakes up the race. She did not endorse either of her two opponents — Conservative party candidate Doug Hoffman or Democrat Bill Owens.

The decision to suspend her campaign is a boost for Hoffman, who already had the support of 50 percent of GOP voters, according to a newly-released Siena poll, and is now well-positioned to win over the 25 percent of Republicans who had been sticking with Scozzafava.

This has the makings of not only a beat-down message to President Obama, but also to those so-called Republicans who shun conservatives.

We are not witnessing a possible Republican revolution, but a conservative revolution. RINOs beware.

Mitt RomneySpeaking of Republican wannabes, it looks like Mittens Romney now looks more like the chump I’ve been calling him for years.

What do you find most often in the middle of the road? Road kill. Mitt Romney, who hopes to be the GOP’s next presidential nominee, couldn’t bring himself to endorse anyone in New York state’s contentious 23rd congressional district special election.

The conservative grassroots have rejected Scozzava, the party’s official candidate in New York’s 23rd. It started out with the base in the district as conservatives gathered around businessman Doug Hoffman and that rebellion has now gone national. Sarah Palin, using her unique sense of timing, one week ago became the biggest name of in-prime party leaders to endorse Hoffman. Had she stayed on the sidelines, this contest could have played out in predictable fashion: Republicans stayed split and Democrat Bill Owens would have cruised to victory. Instead, by all appearances, the conservative revolt has succeeded. Even the national GOP — which had endorsed Scozzafava and was slamming outsider Hoffman as much as Democrat Owens — is now recognizing that district voters seem to flocking to Hoffman.

I think it’s now time to start implementing that ramification now, like Romney and national Republican party dismissal.

The pretenders are everywhere. Fortunately, they can’t help but reveal their true nature. We will judge you by your words and actions. Hopefully the former, in order to curtail or prevent the latter.

We should probably give some credit to Scozzafava, for not splitting the vote.

Pretty good to hear, I always hated 3rd parties..too damn divisive in votes. The GOP needs to consolidate all these conservative, constitution protecting, etc 3rd parties and make a line in the sand saying “we are the conservative party – we stand for SMALL government, independence FROM Government, civil rights, and an ultimate positive belief in the individual’s achievement capability”

This is only incidentally related, but on the topic of pretenders:

Sharpton’s ex & kid cuffed in ‘cop rage’

The Rev. Al Sharpton’s ex-wife and daughter were arrested last night after berating a pair of Harlem cops who pulled them over for running a red light in the wrong lane to get around their slow-moving, unmarked cruiser

I love when “elites” reveal their true nature. The moral of the story is that elitist blacks are as elitist whites are as…

Is anyone still surprised by these morons?

I am simply amazed when liberals think it is the Conservatives that curtail their liberties, when, in fact, it is the liberals/progressives that continue to legislate and litigate our rights away.

Note to liberals/progressives: Involuntary exploitation is slavery by any other name.

I don’t live in the 23rd District, but is close to us. Scozzafava is about as close to a Socialist as you can get. She wants bigger Government, abortions funded by public funds, pro union & an rabid Second Amendment enemy. Some of the Conservative Republicans decided she does not represent them & decided to support Doug Hoffman. He has an excellent chance to defeat the Democrat opponent & probably by a fairly large margin. He is a strong pro Constitution, Second Amendment & for minimal Government control over Citizens Rights. He is also for Deportation of Illegals & is against the Pelosi Health Care Reform Bill the House just finished. We need more like Doug, about another 400 or so.
