Quote Of The Day

Rocco LandesmanThis is truly telling, considering this clown is in charge of those who decides what is publicly-funded art and what isn’t.

This is the first president that actually writes his own books since Teddy Roosevelt and arguably the first to write them really well since Lincoln. If you accept the premise, and I do, that the United States is the most powerful country in the world, then Barack Obama is the most powerful writer since Julius Caesar. That has to be good for American artists.
Rocco Landesman, chairman, National Endowment for the Arts

Seeing how there is this slight controversy over just who really wrote his highly-acclaimed book, I wouldn’t be authoritatively singing the praises of this great author, Barack Obama, just yet.

These liberals are getting quite busy revising history and its a shame that few call them on it.

Apparently, we’ve forgotten about this cat named “William Shakespeare.”

And two little things about Caesar: One, he knew what it took to win a war and didn’t sit around and think about it.

Two, he tore down the Republic, spat in the face of his political opponents, poisoned, insulted and killed any who spoke against him and set himself up as dictator for life. So, in that respect, yeah, I can see the correlation between Caesar and Obama.

I wonder what Billy has to say about this one?

Wasn’t Julius, not to be confused with orange julius, done in by his fellow elitist? Just askin’!

I didn’t read the second book, but did read “Dreams”. I found it to be a paean to his (Obama’s) self hatred for being black. In his description of his trip to Kenya and his family having dinner at a tourist hotel, he was even pissed that the black waiters were cow-towing to the white tourists. Did it ever occur to him that the white tourist were probably going to leave hefty tips and that the black “locals” probably wouldn’t and that might be why the black waiters were not as attentive to his party?

Whipe it off your chin, Rocco…
